She is the cat! My new roommate went to run errands and then go to work as soon as she dropped her stuff off. I love the idea of having a roommate who wants to scent mark everything like a cat, though.

Scarab: Have you ever eaten a bug?
Not that I’m aware of! I would, though, if we’re talking bugs that have actually been cooked and prepared as food. Oh, wait, that reminds me, I have eaten cookies made with cricket flour. They were very good. I’m not sure if that counts for this question, as they weren’t whole crickets, but processed food… I think it does. So then yes, I’ve eaten bugs. :D

2. On a scale of 1-5, how afraid of the dark are you?
Probably a 1. It was about a 3 or 4 when I was a kid, but I desensitized myself. I only worry about the dark if I think I’m in danger of banging my shins against a coffee table or stepping on a friend or something like that.
4. What is your favorite word?
Right now probably “loquacious” because I’ve been using it to describe myself quite frequently. Or maybe “trill” because I can’t read it without hearing one in the back of my mind, and trills are one of my favourite things on the entire planet.
8. What do you label yourself as?
A bunch of things. Queer, femme, a nerd, “basically a huge overly affectionate cat.” My favourite self-descriptor is probably “lipstick pansexual.”

D: I don’t want to live anywhere other than Canada. I mean, other places are nice to visit, but as for living elsewhere? Noooo. I guess maybe England because it’s really pretty and is politically a lot more left-leaning than the US, in general, so I wouldn’t die from not being able to afford health care… I’d really miss Canada though.
Maybe Sweden. Sweden’s pretty good, politically. Or Norway. I have distant family there. Or somewhere in the US, near where I have some friends.

Nnnno. I did almost die once when I was a kid and we discovered I was allergic to dogs because I couldn’t breathe, like, at all, but I’ve never had a proper, go-towards-the-light NDE. A shame, really, I think that’d actually be pretty cool. You know. Aside from the whole almost-dying thing.
