Can't miss it — 17-story Holiday Inn by Richard Seifert from 1967! The nearby 11-story Embassy Court (not in the picture), which was criticized in the 1930s for its scale, suddenly looks tiny and sensible in comparison ⚖️ .

Hove has one tough town hall! Opened in 1974 as a replacement of original building from 1882, which was lost in a fire a few years prior. The building was constructed from 900 (!) two-ton concrete blocks.

For the first time I decided to add vegetation to an architecture illustration — mainly because the intricacy of Alexandra Road estate can't be really revealed in a 'flat' view and the result felt quite harsh.
