i started watching the modok show and its very silly. every time a c-list reference comes up i gasp joyfully, especially the lila cheney one. i think the best part is that its very obvious that the creators are comics fans in a way that a lot of superhero comic adaptations arent so i feel connected to the show in a way that i dont to like the mcu, even tho there are easter eggs in both.
also modok called iron man a wet bitch so thats fun
Anyways, tiddies aside, I have been watching M.O.D.O.K on hulu and it was fucking amazing!, not gonna lie i grew fond of Modok since the first “modok head games” issue, he is just very funny and his dynamic with tony is pure chaos ( the funny and irreverent kind of chaos) and his family really FEELS like a family (not like dooms parallel universe family that he ended up destroying ahgshg).

M.O.D.O.K was so dumb. I loved it! It was a fun time.
It took me until about half way through to really get into it but then I was genuinely enjoying it and didn't want it to end. There's definitely a few things I think should have been cut from the script and not made it in the show but for the most part I enjoyed everything and it was a nice, fun experience.
It's an experience is kinda the best way to sum up M.O.D.O.K I think.

Hulu’s M.O.D.O.K. premiered today, giving Patton Oswalt voicing the titular super-villain. First appearing in Tales of Suspense #94 in 1967, A.I.M. scientist, George Tarleton underwent genetic mutations, resulting in his transformation into M.O.D.O.K. I quite enjoyed this show, while it’s no Daredevil, it has plenty of fun and interesting bits to it. I’ll be tuning in to more of these wacky antics and hoping that it finishes as strong as it started. Did you watch M.O.D.O.K.? What did you think of it?
