It IS!!

I first saw the movie due to a couple random events lining up just right, and liked that, and thus decided to look up the book it's based on, and liked that too. By this point I've seen the movie several times, read the book at least once or twice, and listened to a specific unofficial audiobook (slash radio theatre? it still is a reading but they got different people to read the various characters' lines) more times than I have bothered to count.

(there is a minute or two in the movie that make me really appreciate watching on a personal device with the ability fastforward through... like, I'm sure it's important and whatever, but I do not enjoy that much bloody video of Mark removing the radio antenna. but other than that. excellent.)

Ok ok ok ok ok ok ok so like here's the thing. GENUINELY I didn't have a favorite type for a LONG time because my favorite pokemon would shift so much over time but honestly?????? Water is A Constant. I've picked a variety of starters over the few games I've played because I love all of them!!! But fire and grass always have a FEW that are hit or miss for me

But not water!!!! Water has always been lovely. You cant get anything better than a dumb fish or a frog or a turtle or something. Look in those eyes and tell me they mean anything. Water starters are the best and in will die on this hill

Izuku, trying to get away from the strange scene, hit an abandoned can. The sound echoed in the alley, much louder than it should ever have been, and both heads pointed at him in perfect synchronization.

The boy shook on his feet, paralyzed by the sudden attention, and as the beast bared its fangs in a snarl, lips curled and muzzle wrinkled in anger, the other slammed his bat into the animal's muzzle. The beast squeaked, unbalanced by the shock as it retreated a few steps.

Izuku couldn't help but grimace in sympathy.

"Look what you're forcing us to do," the more human sighed before stepping closer to Izuku.

The bat in his hand rippled, lengthening and thinning as the material changed to reflect the artificial light.

Izuku could only widen his eyes.

"Sorry kid, but the boss was clear: no witnesses tonight."

As the tall man - who was definitely a villain - was about to slash him with what looked far too much like a saber, the wolf leapt out of the shadows to push his opponent away with a violent headbutt. The weapon ricocheted off the ground as the man hit the wall head-on, and instead of a deadly blade sinking into his soft skin, Izuku was greeted by the huge wolf's gaping maw. This one slammed with a raw pain in his ribs. Izuku, breathless from the sudden pressure, could only let out a painful groan before being lifted off the ground and carried further into the darkness.

I want Janus as my lab partner for a semester because he’d help me cheat and we’d get away with it 

Remus as my employee trainer at Mcdonald’s he’d set the kitchen on fire and show me how to poison people’s food without getting fired 

If I was trapped in an elevator with Virgil I wouldn’t have to be embarrassed about having a panic attack because he would also be having one.

Is there a specific way gladiators get their clothes or do they just kind of ask for them?

Most of them are tailored to their specific needs to help them in battle.

For example, Dee’s suit comes with a built-in heater that keeps him warm and bends easily to his body. Remus’s suit keeps his skin wet so he doesn’t dry out. Virgil’s hoodie was a gift, but his other clothes help him blend in to a totally black environment.
