Danny is working for the GCPD, and so far everything’s going great. He’s got a stable job while his sister Yeah, Danny’s a bit odd but he fits in well enough. Even commissioner Gordon has good things to say about the kid.
Well there’s been a string of murders recently. All the victims are of a similar profile and seem to have all been killed on specific days. A potential serial killer in Gotham is obviously going to draw some attention, and it isn’t long before it’s got the Bats’ attention. Let’s say it’s Bruce.
He starts looking into the murders and eventually takes his search to the coroners office to check out the most recent victim in person. It’s possible the autopsy missed something.
The moment he enters the room, he gets an alert for higher than normal radiation levels. That puts him on high alert immediately. The readings spike at the mortician’s desk and the autopsy table. He makes his way over to the mortuary cabinets and pulls out the victim only to realize it’s emitting radiation as well. It’s like everything in the room is contaminated.
He can’t locate the source of the radiation anywhere either. No broken tools should be emitting these levels, and there isn’t a nuclear reactor in Gotham for many good reasons. It makes zero sense.
He’s about to leave when the door jingles. Batman immediately moves into the shadows to hide. Suddenly he receives like 50 notifications for dangerous radiation levels nearby. Danny walks in the room and he immediately realizes either this kid has something radioactive on them, or this kid is radioactive and needs to get to a hospital immediately.
Danny’s gonna have a fun time trying to explain this 😀😅. Maybe he should have just gotten a job at a coffee shop.
