Being a researcher at Parker
I wanted to share with you my daily routine and also my experience of being research intern at Parker. I have to say that being a researcher is not an easy job as many others. It is very challenging, but at the same time it is very interesting and fascinating. Last couple of weeks I took a part in various meetings and interesting discussions coupled with a lot of readings related to my ongoing systematic review. Usually my week starts with department meeting where we discuss our achievements during the week with a delicious breakfast. On Tuesday, we usually have a presentation meeting with representatives of different units where we have various presentations on different research topics. On Friday, I attend another meeting where different unit representatives gather together with some breakfast to discuss and share informations with each other. Afterall, the rest of the week I am very busy with my ongoing systematic review. After spending a while at Parker I came to know many interesting people and also obtained knowledge from really knowledgable and intelligent people about different nutrition related topics from different perspectives.
