i think it kinda sucks that nobody talks about modularity (ie: fragments called particles that usually only hold basic concepts or traits, that stack similar to lego bricks to form temporary members that usually don't last any more than a week) because its a really interesting concept but GOD does it fuck up your perception of your headmate count/headmates overall. Like I remember having entire collective casts having to be deleted and/or remade because they suddenly disappeared and now a whole new cast of headmates are here with similar themes and roles. Its gotten much better now and days with the return of the three 'personality state' headmates from dormancy and more research, and now we have a rule: if a headmate doesn't appear in the front area for more than a week and they are not spotted in the front area again after that week-long period they are deemed a temporary headmate. I feel like people need to talk about their experiences more idk.
