Terrific job on this comic! Just love the comic version of the scene from season 2 where Kitty buys Red beer to celebrate the new job she knows he’ll get. And the way Red thinks about life without Kitty, just about broke my heart. I know her menopause was a difficult time for both Red and Kitty, in very different reasons, but Red would definitely rather go through that rough patch with her than be without her. Wonderful job on that!
Thank you so much, Prissy! 😊 I depicted that scene between Red and Kitty in season 2 for this comic to illustrate the foundation of love and support their relationship is built on. The writers, during seasons 1-4, totally wrote them from that place. Then the writers seemed to get partial amnesia -- and then almost total amnesia -- about who these characters are. I knew when I got to season 5 that I’d make sure Red and Kitty’s foundation remained intact. ❤️
