Hi, so, decided to give the MHA Fantasy AU another shot after two years (due to the poor reception on the last fic). Here's the sequel to Tranquil Flames, Shimmering Armor.

I struggled with this fic... a lot. But still enjoyed writing it.

Also, in the MoeRumi Parents AU, Katsuki ends up helping out in the fight against Stain.

Kinda.

Katsuki is still interning with Best Jeanist, but he gets the text with Izuku's location and he knows exactly what's fucking going down. He and Jeanist were out on a shadowing patrol somewhat near the area, Jeanist has to go help with the Nomu, so Katsuki ducks off to go help Izuku, texting his moms what he's doing.

He gets there in time to fight Stain, but Stain manages to get some of his blood, right from near his wrists. He licks it up and Katsuki straight up stares in disbelief as he does that, ending up getting frozen.

Stain goes finish his kill, starting some monologue about purity or whatever, only to cut himself off as he gets more and more woozy.

Katsuki gets released (as does everyone else) from the quirk as Stain loses focus, but none of them really need to do much because about 10 seconds afterwards Stain passes out from nitroglycerin poisoning.

Katsuki, staring at the unconscious body on the ground in front of him totally baffled: "... What sort of stupid ass motherfucker goes around just... drinking people's blood? How did he think that sort of bullshit plan was going to work out well for him???"

About .2 seconds later Burnin' shows up having finished off the Nomu fight so she could go find her son, only to find him there with his classmates, mostly fine and the damn hero killer just passed out on the ground.

Katsuki just looks up and is like: "In my defense, I didn't start it, and I didn't use my quirk until he attacked me."

Burnin': "I mean fair enough. You get to explain this to your mentor though."

After the whole mess is sorted out, when the kids are supposed to be getting lectured by the chief of police, Miruko barges in and just gives Katsuki a high five because that’s her boy.

Like he's talking about how they shouldn't be putting themselves at risk like that, about how the others shouldn't have answered the response call, and all that Mature Adult Stuff, and Miruko's just like "hell YES, that's my fucking son right there, I'm so proud of you."

The chief of police is very tired: "Miruko... please...." and she just totally waves him off, "He didn't fucking start the fight, it was self defense, and he told us what he was doing, so fuck off."

There is still a cover up, but the new story is that Stain attacked Burnin' and Katsuki while they were meeting up, since Burnin' was technically the arresting hero anyways, and Stain had to be taken to the hospital and treated for NG poisoning. So the new cover story had to explain that too.

So the official story is that Stain showed the fuck up, got some of Katsuki's blood, drank it like a moron, and then passed out. Later on in the AU, this actually becomes one of the reasons Tomura wanted Katsuki because he really hated Stain, and holy shit, that was the funniest possible way for Stain to go down.
