ACTUAL CONVERSATION I JUST HAD, WHILE RECOUNTING THE 50th 

Me: The children on Gallifrey.. in the 50th. Don't know if you realized, but they were.. using maypoles. Husband: Yes, I did. Me: I mean really, maypoles. There wouldn't even be children on Gallifrey in the first place at that point. Husband: Well, there aren't. Somehow Moffat's food supply made it into the shots

Oh god, okay, here’s a little bit of a crack!fic then. I’m not a smut writer, despite my various unsuccessful attempts, but I do love a good crackfic now and then, so here, have a little mini thing that I thought may have possibly been funny in my head. No smut here babe, just some love for the Moff! :D

(I totally considered just laughing this off, but instead I’m saying “challenge accepted”. Hope you like it dear)

Steven sat down to his computer, about to start writing his next episode, but something had distracted him. 

When he opened the screen, his web browser was open. They were on one of those pages where people posted things… the URL read tumblr.com, and they had searched his name!

"Well well now, this is interesting…" he whispered to himself as he scrolled through the page. 

There were mixed comments about his work. Some loved him, and some downright hated him. But one thing he found that everyone had in common was that they had all been cursing his name for the plot twists he tended to use. 

There was a lot of “MOFFAT!!!” being said, and even gifs of David Tennant from Nevermind the Buzzcocks shaking his fist at the camera with the “MOFFAT” caption. 

"This is very interesting indeed.” He chuckled as he scrolled further.

The agony he caused his viewers made him laugh. He never failed to get a kick out of the crazy theories people came up with, but just now was he realizing just how many people threw them around. His laughing grew into an almost manic sound when his wife Sue touched his shoulder. 

Steven jumped. “SUE! I didn’t hear you come in.”

"Yeah, I can’t imagine why. Probably couldn’t hear much over that laughter of yours. What’s so funny anyways?"

"Oh, just some people on the internet trying to figure out how Sherlock survived, others attempting to make heads or tails of the Doctor’s life. The usual."

She groaned. “Ugh, Moffat.”

"What did you say?" He turned to her.

"Nothing."

"No, say it again!" He begged excitedly.

"Moffat?"

"I do love hearing that!"

Sue giggled, and kissed her husband’s head, then left him to his own devices in the room.

Steven turned back to the computer and continued to laugh manically as he scrolled down the page and read the ridiculous (and not so ridiculous) theories.
