[ there had been too much that lead to this moment that ray wasn’t fully prepared for. sure, they’d been living together for a while now. it was really much easier for both of them. ray got a free ride to work everyday, and they both saved on the cost of rent. plus it wasn’t like it was a big deal anyway. living with michael was like having two teenagers being roommates. except they were both adults, and they had the freedom of such. which included but was not limited to occasionally ending up cuddled up in the same bed, or on the couch together after a movie marathon. or the quick kisses they hardly realized that happened when they said goodbye to each other. but recently ray’s mind had been lingering on the idea of if it could mean something. if there was a reason that when he caught the sound of michael laughing, his lips couldn’t help but turn upwards. but he’d pushed the thought away, not wanting to risk if michael didn’t share in the same likeness of himself. but now that all the cards were on the table, was there really time to deny it any longer? ]
