“Everything to Me” (Spoilers)
So this was an awesome episode. Mouse’s song for Harper was so sweet and it is awesome to see her open up about her feelings without freaking out. It’s also awesome that Harper does feel the same way.
I’m still curious as to what went down between Mouse and Giggles. It does seem like there is something there but Giggles did push Mouse to open up. It is just obvious there is some backstory there though and I can’t help but be intrigued.
Disney’s Big Shot (Spoilers)
Hey everyone, So I was watching the latest ep of The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers on Disney+ today. I’m a huge Gilmore Girls fan and so Lauren Graham is always a source of entertainment for me.
Honestly if you have never watched Gilmore Girls, watch it!
Anyway, after watching it Big Shots was suggested to me. The premise being a Division 1 college basketball coach loses his job for throwing a chair at a referee and in an effort to get his career back on track, his agent gets him a job coaching a high school girls’ basketball team. I’m fond of basketball as a sport so I was already interested and who doesn’t like good old teen drama.
So I watched the Pilot which is all that is up at the min and it is scheduled to have a new ep each Friday. As always I had my antenna up for an intriguing LGBT+ storyline and the characters of Mouse and Giggles have struck my attention.
The Coach says he would like the two to not leave each others’ side between the discussion they are having and the next game, “Go on a long walk” and “Get dinner together” are some of the phrases he uses. And Mouse gets kinda freaked asking if he is suggesting they “have a sleepover.” It is then revealed Giggles has said or done something in the past that has lead Mouse to believe that she likes her as more than a friend.
Now, Mouse’s reaction strikes me as someone who’s identity is threatened by being too closely associated with someone who is LGBT+, probably likely due to what lies within her own closet. Meanwhile, Giggles is equally defensive saying that, “Whatever you thought I meant that night, I didn’t. I have a boyfriend.”
You effectively have two girls being very defensive about the fact they like each other as more than friends and this strikes me as being the start of a longer storyline where the two characters are gonna gradually come to grips with their own sexual orientations. Whether this is gonna lead to them getting together I don’t know. But the storyline definitely has me intrigued.
I’m gonna see where this goes and how it develops and if it appears to be going in the direction I think it is heading, I will start a new blog separate from this (as I would like to keep this blog focused on one show at a time) where I can follow the storyline in detail and post theories.

KWEH !!!!!!!!
been thinking about the initial hivemind joining and the horror of it. every person unconsensually unified.
there is a missing person who has been hiding for decades and they didn't choose to be found but now they are happy, exposed to who they were escaping. the rapist wrings his hands of justice and hands his victim a blanket to sleep with in the communal arena. outside, the alcoholic who has been failing to quit her entire life is afforded no decision fatigue and docilely accepts the medical attention she is served, driving soberly to the hospital. is the schizophrenic panicking through their hallucinations? is it just a glitch in their newfound beige of mind? there will be delivered pregnancies and none of those babies will be named. the customer who verbally abused the grocer is handing the children milkboxes, smiling, smiling. he suffered from writer's block but now everything is cured and nothing needs to be written. trans teenagers who were granted no freedom, whose classmates yelled slurs and whose parents enforced deadnames, now tepidly observing the constructed peace — where do they head with their bodies now? workers who quality checked the screws in missiles walking even further away from their departed consciences. their military targets, silent in their reactions. in emptied therapy clinics, couples will never attend their next marriage counselling session. all this unearned forgiveness, all this evenness in ability. all that love siphoned, labelled, neatly shelved away.
