22 people died while attempting to receive aid today. 16 near the Netzarim corridor in the central area and 6 killed in khan younis. This was today. this is right now. 13 ppl were killed in Al-shati camp today, which is where my friend ( @moayeshblog) was displaced from. these martyrs aren’t numbers and they aren’t just a sacrifice but they had families, hopes, dreams, and wants like the rest of the world.

my close friend mohammed, who’ve i’ve been in contact with for ab 7 months now, lives in a reality where he must weigh his life against the lives of his family. because wanting to eat has become synonymous with trading your life for bread in the Strip. he almost died yesterday for flour.

but he wouldn’t have to risk everything if you can just give anything. Any amount you give goes towards buying the expensive food in the market, saving him from having to receive ‘flour dipped in blood’ as ppl in Gaza have labeled it.

i know it’s uncomfortable, being responsible for life in these moments but it’s even more uncomfortable to live mohammed’s reality. $5 is the only thing required of you while he’s sacrificing his mind, body, happiness, & spirit on a daily basis.

Last evening, Nuseirat refugee camp was bombed once again by Israeli missiles. The strike targeted a residential building and resulted in at least 8 martyrs among those who were present.

These bombings continue to happen day after day, whether it is in Nuseirat camp or other refugee camps across the Gaza Strip. People like @handalapls and every other Gazan who is sharing their story on tumblr are at risk of losing their lives every single day. Today they may be alive, tomorrow they may not, and this is the reality for every single Gazan right now.

This might seem like "just another incident" among thousands in the Gaza Strip, but if this happened anywhere else, the word would stop turning! Why are Palestinians any different? Why are Gazans different?

The genocide proceeds and life is moving on, but it should not! All eyes on Gaza! Save Gaza! Free Palestine!

back to school season is beginning all across different parts of the world. but for the third year, most of gaza’s students are barred from education cause there’s no schools to go to. they were all bombed.

my dear friend mohammed ( one of the vetterz behind @gaza-evacuation-funds ) (his blog is @elnather) was in university before the “war” but all of his dreams were crushed by the occupation. now his days are spent searching for food to feed himself and his family. life is 300x harder with no end to the suffering in sight.

my friend mohammed, @moayeshblog, has told me he’s going to the aid distribution point to get food for his family. there’s a high chance he won’t come back bcs the IOF opens fire routinely on the ppl who come to receive the aid.

he’s risking everything for food. for a bag of flour. there’s a chance my friend will be taken from me over a bag of flour. taken from his family, his future, all for a bag of fucking flour.
