*PCPG MEETING HELD AT KHOUR AREA OF GULABGARH OF SUB DIVISION MAHORE *. Reasi : Today a PCPG meeting was conducted by SDPO Mahore ,Dr Khalid Ashraf JKPS with the public of Khour area of Gulabgarh. The objective of the Meeting was to interact with the inhabitants of these villages and suggested ways and means to solve the problems faced by them especially in view of the ensuing cold wave. The issues that could be solved on spot were resolved accordingly while some others would be raised with the concerned authorities through proper channel. At the end of the meeting COVID -19 kits were distributed amongst the poor and downtrodden under civic action programme (CAP) on directions of Sh Dilbag Singh, IPS ,worthy DGP, J&K and the recipients were also given on spot demos as to how to use these Covid kits . All the beneficiaries who were given COVID -19 kits belong to weaker strata of Society and are categorised under BPL catagory. The objective of this activity is to educate and help the weaker sections of society to fight effectively with Coronavirus Pandemic. *NARCOTIC SMUGGLING BID FOILED IN JAMASLAN MAHORE AREA OF REASI DISTRICT,NARCOTICS RECOVERED, 01 NARCOTIC SMUGGLER ARRESTED** Reasi @bimpal_singh : Continuing JKP's #WarOnDrugs offensive to contain the spread of narcotic drugs & psychotropic substances, Mahore police arrested one narcotic drug peddlers from jamaslan area of Tehsil Mahore,District Reasi . The arrested drug peddler belongs to Jamaslan area of Tehsil Mahore and is involved in supplying and selling of narcotics in Mahore,Chaklas,Shajroo, Jamaslan ,Mulas and Sildhar area of Tehsil Mahore. From the possession of the arrested person namely Zulifkar Ahmed S/O Shamas Din ,R/O Jamaslan , Chachi ,age 22 years . 26 challis ,weighing 1 kg and 10 grams of canabis (Charas in common parlance) was recovered from his possession. Case FIR Number 02/2021 under sections 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Mahore . During preliminary investigation it has come to notice that the accused has bought the consignment from Katra area to sell it to the youth of Mahore and surrounding areas. *IGP Jammu Zone visited Mahore area of Distt Reasi, reviews security scenario of area,conducted public meeting and distributed sewing machines to NOKs of martyrs* Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone, Jammu Mukesh Singh today visited Mahore Sub Division in district Reasi to review the security scenario of the area. He was accompanied by SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir and Addl SP Reasi Surjeet kumar During his visit IGP Jammu zone took a joint security review meeting in which officers from army, intelligence and police participated. Discussion was held on the recent militancy module busted in area by the Police and the army in the past few weeks and guidelines were provided regarding further investigation of the case. He also conducted a public meeting and listened the public grievances and requested general public not to allow any anti national and anti social activities in the area .He also requested to help the Secuirty forces in mantaining peace in the area . SSP Reasi gave a Power Point Presentation and briefed the present Secuirty scenario of the area . PISTOL, AMMUNITION AND GRENADES RECOVERED IN MAHORE AREA OF DISTT REASI Reasi , Mohare @bimpal_singh : the basis of reliable information one person namely Mohd Yousaf S/O Ghulam Haider ,Age 20 years , R/O Deval ,Tehsil Mahore was apprehended by team of police station Mahore.During sustained questioning and interrogation he disclosed that he has hided some cache of arms and ammunition in a hideout at village lower Angrala of sub divison mahore Distt Reasi. A joint search operation of Jammu Kashmir police lead by Insp Rattan singh SHO Mahore under the supervision of SDPO mahore Dr.Khalid Ashraf and army was launched in the area and five live grenades,9 mm pistol along with ammunition is recovered from a hideout.
