aneet padda and ahaan panday on the set of saiyaara
aesthetic of krish & vaani // saiyaara (2025)
Honestly, the fact that incel pages are hating on 'saiyaara' should be a sign for everyone to go and watch it.
Bollywood might just heal because of this movie. Instead of mannerless, unhygienic looking, rowdy men who turn women off, this movie actually showed a green flag who was ride or die since the beginning.
Is this the bare minimum? Yes. But if you look at Bollywood over the last decade, you'll know what I am talking about. Alpha-beta-gamma, sigma, whatnot has polluted brains. People with some taste have moved to kdramas, turkish shows or hollywood. Bollywood had lost its main essence: Romance.
Saiyaara catching strays from misogynists shows that its in the right path. Bollywood needs to keep making movies like this to at least decenter the masses from violence and misogyny.
That being said, Aneet and Ahaan did a fantastic job, and this movie was a real tearjearker, NGL, I did cry in at least 3 scenes. Wonderful movie. Fantastic casting. Bonus points for making incels mad online.

Krish and Vaani's bike romance deserves an ovation!
saiyaara tu toh, badla nahi hai.
mausam zara sa rootha hua hai.
Saiyaara
Watched Saiyaara last night and I think it's one of the best bollywood has ever made. There is no complicated storyline or anything extravagant, the movie just tried to connect with every hopeless romantic's heart and handsdown it did. It depicted love in its purest form, selfless. The way Krish Kapoor yearned for her is a very rare perspective in today's selfish world, whereas Vaani potrayed the last step of love, letting go beautifully. Krish was ready to give up on his career for her, whereas Vaani was ready to give up her love to save his career. If this isn't the most ethereal form of love then I don't know what is.
But, the only question that lingered in my mind after this film was whether this is even realistic? Is it even possible to love someone so much? What if I never find this type of love in my lifetime? This movie has left me with a sense of longing and loneliness. There is a void in me that can only be filled with a consuming, mad love.
oh, to be loved the way Krish Kapoor loved Vaani Batra.
Some types of love cannot be defined, and that was Saiyaara to me. It left a lasting imprint on my heart, one where I'll fondly look to whenever I start to think less.
Mohit Suri is a genius. The soundtrack is unforgettable. Ahaan Panday is mesmerizing, captivating, and raw. Aneet Padda is heartwarming, heartwrenching, and a breath of fresh air. 10/10 movie, so out of syllabus for Bollywood.
Still hearing the Saiyaara theme in my head....
what if saiyaara had an additional verse:
khud jal ke jo roshan karde jag saara woh awaara dhoond raha hai
joh lafzon se zyada samjhe aur khamoshi mein sab kuch keh jaaye
jiske saath na shikayat, na shart ho na qaid, na koi darr ho joh har mod pe saaya ban saath aaye har lamhe mein ehsaas ban mehkaaye
aazaad bekhabar parindon sa woh aashiyaana dhoondh raha hai
baadalon ke beech se, ek afsana dhoondh raha hai dil saiyaara dhoondh raha hai kisi ek aasmaan ka kinara dhoond raha hai
