As I said on here a couple days ago, I started watching The new season of Yashahime. I just finished episode five now, and yes, I plan on watching up to the most recent episode before the day is out, so I’ll be all caught up. But when I saw that Rion was freed from captivity after 600 years of said captivity, I couldn’t help but have the feels. Especially since Towa’s softness was actually warranted during this time when she hugged her and felt compassion for her. Though I also did like Setsuna pulling her back and saying that she may not be able to be fully trusted. A good balance if you will. Anyways, here’s to Rion being freed after 600 years of captivity, and now actually has a body as well so she can move around as she pleases.

I really can't get over the fact that the girls aren't interested in their parents at all. It's super unrealistic, imo. Moraha didn't even ask her grandma, uncle, or great grandpa anything!! Super bad writing. And why was Towa the one being showed pictures of kagome. Why hadn't sota mentioned kagome before that?? Did they seriously act like kagome was shunned for ten years, nevee mentioning her or having any pictures up in their home?? If I was sota or kagome's mom, I would have freaking asked about the daughter/sister I hadn't seen in years. Not say something dumb like 'oh, tell the daughter I haven't seen in over a decade hi for me please, granddaughter/niece I didn't know I had!' WTH?? Such bad, preschool TV level writing.

And everyone keeps saying too the twins, 'youre the daughters of the great Lord dog demon, sesshomaru!!!' and they're not like 'wha! Who dat??' but instead their like 'whateves *stares blankly*'. Their not like where's mom?? Why were we alone in the forest as toddlers??

No! No! It's all 'oh, my dear little sister, I love you, this is Towa btw.' and ' I want you too get your memories back of me, even though we were four and likely don't have that many memories too begin with, because I Towa, don't even remember our parents. But I want you too remember the time we skipped across a river when we were four!!'

This show gets so much more annoying the more I think about it.
