People really be saying that just because they watch child porn doesn't mean they're a pedophile. Lol what?? What does it make you then?? What does finding pleasure in children partaking in sexual acts make you?? What is it about the fictional CHILD that looks and behaves like an actual CHILD that makes you want to jerk off?? What's the allure??
Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining.
I know what it means and I know what you are. Trying to confuse shit and play semantics won't change that.
Folks really think they're slick.
I donât know how many freaking times this needs to be stated, but we HAVE the timeline. There is no âassumingâ or âguestimating.â Itâs there. Itâs been given. We HAVE it.
Weâre literally told the fucking number 4 secs into episode 15:
We have the summary to reaffirm what was explained in the episode.
Lunar Eclipse, The Sorrowful Parting of Fate Short Summary Riku talks... about what exactly happened to Towa, Setsuna, and Morohaâs parents,
Everything makes sense with all the data that was given in the show.
Kaede tells us in episode 3 that the well has been sealed for over 15 years. âOverâ means more than 2 but less than 4.
15 + 3 = 18. 3 is more than 2 but less than 4.
Kaede tells us that the last time she saw Sesshomaru was 14 years ago after he came to the village to retrieve the twins (also in ep 3).
We learned in the episodes after the birthing one that Rin was sealed RIGHT after she gave birth. How old are the twins? 14. That makes sense.
Kagome in episode one, tells us that itâs been 6 months since she returned to the feudal era. The episode summary confirms that, and we learn both in the show and in the synopsis that 1 month after, Inuyasha was given the black pearl. 4 years after the 7 months, the twins were born. Rin gets sealed, and 14 years later we have the twins and their story.
Whatâs 4 + 14? You guessed it. Eight fucking teen. Can some of yâall stop acting like the information ISNâT in the damn show???? Thereâs no need to make some contrived excel document to argue whether itâs been 20 years or 17. WE HAVE THE NUMBERS DJDJDDJ
Furthermore, it doesnât make sense for the anime to follow the manga, bc if itâs been 20 years, that means Hisui would be 6+ in episode 15. Look at this fetus, and tell me how he became 6 in 4 years?
Fun fact: a character doesnât have to be a good person to be a good character.
Hanyo no Yashahime
Season 1 Review
Itâs review time
Hanyo no Yashahime is the sequel to the classic anime InuYasha, in which a teen from present day travels back to Feudal Japan where demons and magic are very much a reality. The sequel follows the children of the main characters from InuYasha and puts them on their own adventure to save the world.
Note: All opinions are my own. This is a critical review of entertainment media, and will include criticism. If you do not agree, then simply ignore.
The Plot
Early on, it was established that Towa and company would seek out the dream butterfly and get back Setsunaâs dreams/sleep. Treekyo told them they would have to defeat Sesshomaru and Kirinmaru. After many episodes, this plot line was unimportant and almost discarded. Passing and fleeting, the true motive of the girls quest is sporadic and mentioned sparingly, and for many episodes it seemed they were only there to slay high level demons.
Mysteries and questions were extremely abundant and established early on, and as the episodes went by, it was clear they wouldnât be answered. At least this season. One thing the fandom has noticed is how many questions there are, and how in some crazy way sunrise managed to withhold all answers and key plot points from the plot for so long. Treekyo? Not that important apparently. Her prophecy? Never mentioned again. The dream butterfly? Seen not explained. Itâs connection to Kirinmaru and Zero? Contradicted in the show. InuYasha and Kagome? Just as forgotten as Moroha when there is a fight.
The pacing of this show was all over the place and inconsistent, providing too much focus on filler in some episodes and not enough plot in others. And in the episodes where we got to come back to the main story, we would get info dumps. I mentioned in my mid-season review how info dumps are cheap in the scheme of writing and plot outline, and Iâll say it again because I was surprised as the episodes went on how inconsistent everything was getting.
Gen Z is awesome and generational fighting is bad, but I do sometimes talk to Gen Z folks and Iâm like... oh... you cannot comprehend before the internet.
Like activists have been screaming variations on âeducate yourself!â for as long as Iâve been alive and probably longer, but like... actually doing so? Used to be harder?
And anger at previous generations for not being good enough is nothing new. I remember being a kid and being horrified to learn how recent desegregation had been and that my parents and grandparents had been alive for it. Asking if they protested or anything and my mom being like âI was a childâ and my grandma being like âwell, no, I wasnât into politicsâ but I was a child when I asked so that didnât feel like much of an excuse from my mother at the time and my grandmotherâs excuse certainly didnât hold water and I remember vowing not to be like that.
So kids today looking at adults and our constant past failures and being like âHow could you not have known better? Why didnât you DO better?â are part of a long tradition of kids being horrified by their history, nothing new, and also completely justified and correct. That moral outrage is good.
But I was talking to a kid recently about the military and he was talking about how heâd never be so stupid to join that imperialist oppressive terrorist organization and I was like, âWait, do you think everyone who has ever joined the military was stupid or evil?â and he was like, well maybe not in World War 2, but otherwise? Yeah.
And I was like, what about a lack of education? A lack of money? The exploitation of the lower classes? And he was like, well, yeah, but thatâs not an excuse, because you can always educate yourself before making those choices.
And I was like, how? Are you supposed to educate yourself?
And he was like, well, duh, research? Look it up!
And I was like, and how do you do that?
And he was like, start with google! Itâs not that hard!
And I was like, my friend. My kid. Google wasnât around when my father joined the military.
Then go to the library! The library in the small rural military town my father grew up in? Yeah, uh, it wasnât exactly going to be overflowing with anti-military resources.
Well then he should have searched harder!
How? How was he supposed to know to do that? Even if he, entirely independently figured out he should do that, how was he supposed to find that information?
He was a kid. He was poor. He was the first person in his family to aspire to college. And then by the time he knew what he signed up for it was literally a criminal offense for him to try to leave. Because thatâs the contract you sign.
(Now, listen, my father is also not my favorite person and we agree on very little, so this example may be a bit tarnished by those facts, but the material reality of the exploitative nature of military recruitment remains the same.)
And this is one of a few examples Iâve come across recently of members of Gen Z just not understanding how hard it was to learn new ideas before the internet. Iâm not blaming anyone or even claiming itâs disproportionate or bad. But the same kids that ten years ago I was marveling at on vacation because they didnât understand the TV in the hotel room couldnât just play more Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on demand - because theyâd never encountered linear prescheduled TV, are growing into kids who cannot comprehend the difficulty of forming a new worldview or making life choices when you cannot google it. When you have maybe one secondhand source or you have to guess based on lived experience and what youâve heard. Information, media, they have always been instant.
Society shouldâve been better, people shouldâve known better, it shouldnât have taken so long, and we should be better now. Thatâs all true.
But controlling information is vital to controlling people, and information used to be a lot more controlled. By physical law and necessity! No conspiracy required! Thereâs limited space on a newspaper page! Thereâs limited room in a library! If you tried to print Wikipedia it would take 2920 bound volumes. Thatâs just Wikipedia. You could not keep the internetâs equivalent of resources in any small town in any physical form. It wasnât there. We did not have it. When we had a question? We could not just look it up.
Kids today are fortunate to have dozens of firsthand accounts of virtually everything important happening at all times. In their pockets.
(They are also cursed by this, as we all are, because itâs overwhelming and can be incredibly bleak.)
If anything, today the opposite problem occurs - too much information and not enough time or context to organize it in a way that makes sense. Learning to filter out the garbage without filtering so much you insulate yourself from diverse ideas, figuring out whoâs reliable, thatâs where the real problem is now.
But I do think it has created, through no fault of anyone, this incapacity among the young to truly understand a life when you cannot access the relevant information. At all. Where you just have to guess and hope and do your best. Where educating yourself was not an option.
Where the first time you heard the word lesbian, it was from another third grader, and she learned it from a church pastor, and it wasnât in the school libraryâs dictionary so you just had to trust her on what it meant.
I am not joking, I did not know the actual definition of the word âfuckâ until I was in high school. Not for lack of trying! I was a word nerd, and I loved research! It literally was not in our dictionaries, and I knew Iâd get in trouble if I asked. All I knew was it was a âbad wordâ, but what it meant or why it was bad? No clue.
If history felt incomprehensibly cruel and stupid while I was a kid who knew full well the feeling of not being able to get the whole story, I cannot imagine how cartoonishly evil it must look from the perspective of someone whoâs always been able to get a solid answer to any question in seconds for as long as theyâve been alive. To Gen Z, we must all look like monsters.
Iâm glad they know the things we did not. I hope one day they are able to realize how it was possible for us not to know. How it would not have been possible for them to know either, if they had lived in those times. I do not need their forgiveness. But I hope they at least understand. Information is so powerful. Understanding that is so important to building the future. Underestimating that is dangerous.
We were peasants in a world before the printing press. We didnât know. Iâm so sorry. For so many of us we couldnât have known. I cannot offer any other solace other than this - my sixty year old mother is reading books on anti-racism and posting about them to Facebook, where sheâs sharing whatâs sheâs learning with her friends. Ignorance doesnât have to last forever.
If your ship was canon would you still complain about Yashahime? I doubt it.
Iâll bite.
Yes, I would still complain about Yashahime if Sesshomaru had ended up with an adult woman he didnât raise. Why? Because the writing sucks and the characters forgot about their motivations. Why do I care about them and their plight when Towa forgets sheâs trying to get back Setsunaâs dreams and figure out the mystery behind the dream butterfly? Why should I care that Setsuna canât sleep when she herself prefers not to sleep and doesnât seem to care about her memories? Why should I care about Moroha being lonely when she doesnât ask about her parents? Why should I care about Kohaku leading a new generation of Demon Slayers when they come and go when itâs convenient for the âplot.â Why should I care about Zero when her motivations can be boiled down to âscorned lover?â Even Naraku had better motivations. Sure he was an incel, but he also tried to reject and move on from the part of himself that still obsessed over Kikyo. He wanted to become a powerful demon. His motivations werenât just about Kikyo.
Yes this is a kidâs show. No an minor/adult relationship should not be shown in that show, especially when they had the Tamano episode right before it because it sends the message of âif heâs handsome itâs OK that heâs into you when youâre 12-15.â So yes I am angry about this fact and want the ratings changed. I am angry Sunrise baited this even if it turns out to be ship bait.
Iâm angry because Yashahime had the chance to expand upon some of the lore and unanswered questions from Inuyasha, but it doesnât. All we get are a million more questions that contradict the source material, plus no answers.
Kid shows arenât an excuse for shit writing. I just finished Tangled the Series and within the first few episodes I could tell you the charactersâ flaws, areas for growth, and goals. I knew who the ultimate villain was and what the mystery was going to be about. Yashahime had 24 episodes and WE STILL DONâT UNDERSTAND THE PLOT. So yes, Iâd still be complaining.
Antis are proved liars. Sunrise didnât say to pay attention to the relationship chart. It was a lie and other antis believed it to make them feel better that there ship didnât happen and sessrin won. Please tag as anti sessrin because they need to know they are being lied at
Mod: I will absolutely not do that. I was going to let it go at just that, but itâs annoyed me enough to the point where I have to say something.
To everyone: Do not ask me to cross tag. Most likely your ask will show up where you want it to be anyway because you used the right words in the body of your post. That is tumblrâs fault, not mine. I am not going to go above and beyond, cross out all the âkey wordâ just to make sure you avoid seeing it. As much as I enjoy running the blog, itâs not worth that much effort.
I will continue to tag as best as I can, but I refuse to KNOWINGLY cross tag.
Sessrin, if you want to see more positive posts from this blog about the ship, or to even complain about the antis and get it off your chest, then I still encourage you to do so. If you are still seeing anti-posts in your tag even though you have (hopefully) blocked the correct tags, then please consider blocking the blog itself.
Trust me. When anyone wants to be petty and start something, their intended audience will see it no matter how I tag it, because thereâs always one lurker. That goes to ALL sides of this fandom. So once again: do not ask me to cross tag.
Hmm, I don't remember anyone saying Sunrise said to pay attention to the relationship chart. So, this is a lie in and of itself. Also, why not pay attention to the relationship chart?? It is content provided by sunrise. It is strange that they haven't added rin as the mom on it, in my opinion. But I also believe sunrise did do a very stupid and disgusting thing and did make sesshomaru into a pedo groomer. They clearly didn't use their brains when they made this shit show.
You should be concerned about how you keep lying to yourself, I mean, if youre so worried about people being lied to.
Sessrin is disgusting and inappropriate, you have issues because you pair a little girl with a grown man. You're lying to yourself when you claim not to see an issue here.

that phrase like, âhe looked at her like she was the sunâ has always confused me because most people look at the sun like thisÂ
the only author who got this right was Lev Tolstoj the phrase âhe stepped down, trying not to look at her, as if she were the sun, yet he saw her, like the sun, even without lookingâ lives in my mind rent free

Some of yall are making me really uncomfy with your lack of empathy towards abuse victims.Â
You canât go around mocking sessrinners for unapologetically supporting CP and saying victim blaming shit like âRin wanted itâ, only for you to turn around and drag Rin for being unfit to care for her children because sheâs 1) an abused child and 2) frozen in a fucking tree. Thatâs hypocritical AF.
14/15 year olds are not meant to parent, they are not mentally mature enough to do so. This goes double for teenage mothers that have been groomed and abused by their most trusted adult figure, they are not in a state of mind to make rational decisions.Â
Unless youâve been in that situation, you have no idea how mentally damaging it is to have an abusive spouse/partner.Â
Itâs so much worse for kids, especially kids who donât know what healthy relationships look like to begin with. Kids like Rin whose parents died at a young age leaving her with only Sesshomaru to turn to and trust. How is she supposed to know better?
So stop saying shit like âRin shouldnât have let her kids get stolen.â because in her mind Sesshomaru can do no wrong. Not to mention she had just given birth, a birth so difficult on her child body it nearly killed her (since she had to be treed immediately after). Iâd like to see you try to stop a kidnapper after just giving birth to twins with an underdeveloped body, itâs just common sense to know thatâs not a realistic expectation.
My issue is the writers aren't writing it this way. They are writing it like it is completely normal for a little girl to grow up idolizing and being in the care of a grown to marry him someday. The are writing it like it is completely normal, romantic, and healthy for someone to have such complete faith in someone else that you would let them take your children away from you without a word.
The issue is the writers aren't writing this realistically. They're not writing Rin as a poor child who got taken advantage of by a trusted adult. They are treated the whole relationship as normal and healthy. Rin isn't going to suffer any real trauma because of what sesshomaru did to her, because the writers have normalized this. The writers aren't going to write it that way.
Sesshomaru is realistically a villain in this show because of his part fathering those children with a young girl, but the show isn't going to show him that way.
They aren't going to put it in the show, how Rin was groomed or how it affects her development. More than likely. They aren't going to hint at sesshomaru's and Rin's relationship being toxic or inappropriate.
Whenever Rin gets out of that tree, she's likely going to be completely unaffected by what sesshomaru did to her and it won't be mentioned as anything bad because that is the way the writers are going to write it.
Sessrin is toxic, gross, grooming, and pedophilia but the writers aren't writing it that way. Which is the biggest issue of all.
Fans who dismiss canon they donât like, while getting mad at others for disagreeing with fanon or their headcanons. Because that makes total sense. /s

How to draw Afro textured 4c hair - an explanation/Tutorial
For those of you that donât know what 4c hair is, 4c hair is a hair texture type that contains coils to small and tight that the hair appears to be more puffy rather than curly ( like to photo below ) this is in NO WAY to be confused with curly hair. there is a drastic difference.
As a black artist that primarily draws characters with 4c hair, Iâve been asked many times to do a tutorial on 4c hair so here we go~
before we get into 4c hair, lets take a moment to fully understand it by talking about hair texture in a general sense first
letâs take a look at this example of straight hair vs curly hair ( 1 type straight hair vs 3 type curly hair )
If you take a moment to compare the two youâll notice straight hair is flat, it has no texture. Straight hair perfectly hangs down similar to liquid-like silk. Itâs lack of curl pattern is the reason as to why it hangs perfectly flat.
curly hair on the other hand doesnât lie down flat and silky like straight hair, Itâs more thick. Curly hair in itâs raw and unstyled state has a trapezoid like shape this is because the sides of the hair spread more outward.
So why is this? Why is straight hair flat and curly hair thick?
the answer to that question is a thing called piling up. When it comes to hair texture, the shape of the hair strands arenât the only thing that matters, its how the strands coexist with each other, Curly hair strands coexist by piling up on top each other.
moisture also effects hair texture too, different hair types absorbs moisture differently, thus the thickness of each hair type is different.Â
âŠ..soooo, how does this all relate to how to draw 4c hair??Â
Well letâs take a look at the drawing below. Notice how the arrows go outward more as the hair texture gets curlier. As weâve already discussed, this is because hair piles up, The curlier the hair texture, the more it piles up on each other, the bigger it gets, the more outward the arrows go.
Out of any hair texture, 4C hair has the most curls. Because of this, the hair piles up on each other so much that it doesnât lie down flat like straight hair, nor does it make a trapezoid like shape like curly hair, it instead becomes more cloud like.â€ïž
This is what you need to take into account when it comes to drawing 4C hair.
Think of it as piling up a bunch of cotton balls on each other. The most cotton on top of top to lead to a bigger patch of cotton. this is 4c hair.
How to not draw 4c hair:
Garnet fanart. Letâs talk about Garnet Fanart. I notice a trend that when artists draw Garnet from Steven universe, her hair texture is usually changed to 3 type curly like texture. This subtle form of White washing has confused me because this is inaccurate.Â
Garnetâs hair is in the shape of a cube. Though 3 type hair piles up on each other, it isnât curly nor thick enough for their hair to stay in the shape of a cube. Curly hair lies down more than 4c hair. So garnetâs hair being in the shape of a cube is a dead giveaway that it is 4C. Why do you think hairstyles like flat tops are usually seen on black men with 4c hair? Itâs because, the 4c hair texture is thick and strong enough to stay in whatever shape you put it in.
please, if youâre drawing a character with 4c hair, avoid drawing it like curly 3 type hair, this is very anti-black and texturist.
So, how do you draw 4c hair?
honestly, its the most easy thing in the world
i wanna clarify that blobby looking 4c drawings ( like the one on the top left ) can work depending on how cartoony your art style is.
Another thing that I want to greatly clarify when it comes to drawing 4C hair is, YOU. DONT. NEED. TO. DRAW. EVERY. HAIR. STRAND!âŠ..like, seriously. Iâve gotten many messages about how 4C hair is hard to draw, and itâs always left me confused; but then I find out that the same people that have trouble drawing 4C hair, attempt to draw every single strand of hair. This is unnecessarily time consuming because itâs merely impossible to get every single detail down, especially when you have a simple cartoon style. 4C hair does not require much effort, all youâre doing is drawing lumps. Itâs that simple, nothing more nor nothing less.
The reason why I greatly advise all of you to avoid drawing every single hair strand is because in real life, when you look at a 4C textured Afro, your eyes donât pick up on each individual hair strand like straight or curly hair. 4C hair, appears to be more undefined and cloud like, so attempting to draw each and every individual strand is unnecessary and will most likely end up looking inaccurate.
Anyways! thatâs it for now! there will be a part 2 to this tutorial that will come out next week! i hope you guys have learned from this and apply it to your black character in your art!~
