Dear Amanda,

I don't know when you'll see this (your roleplay blog has stolen you away!!) But I just wanted to share with you and my followers how much I love you.

Life may be tough.  Things are grossly unfair.  You have so much you deal with and I don't envy you, although sometimes it seems that way.  I'm not sure why I was blessed with a friend like you but I know without a shadow of a doubt that you are my soul mate.  We have eternity together, you and I.  Knowing that often puts me at ease.

You are beautiful, confident, strong, and all around an amazing woman.  Don't let life or others get you down.  Those who hurt you are just blips in your life that are there to make you even stronger.  And I know I'm a huge stresser in your life but I'm still here for you.  Despite what I say or do my love never falters.  

You make me feel so loved and so protected.  I thank every day I have with you.  So keep your head up.  Love yourself.  And never give up or lose hope.  You have an amazing future ahead of you, right now things are gearing up for that.  Think of the bad as an indicator of the amount of good that'll make up for it.

P.s.s.s soranoo I am sorry you got sad at work. I wish I could give you a hug and make you feel better. My arms, this apartment, and our circle of friends are all places you are most welcomed and loved. See you in the morning my dearest friend <3 don't be afraid to come get cuddles from me, even if I'm sleeping. My bed can hold two if need be. Also, don't stress about cosplays, it'll all work out

Dear bestfriend,

You are everything to me.  You are my soulmate, my moirail.  Without you I would not be where I am.  I'd probably even be with someone who'd be abusing me instead of supporting me and loving me the way you do.  I can hardly put into words what you mean to me.  Despite our fights and differences you are the greatest thing in my life and one of the best people.  I will always keep you by my side.  My future front porch senario includes you and your man beside me and mine.  You are just as much of a piece of my future as he is.  I will always love you.  Always.

Sometimes I look over at my moirail and realize what a great friend I have.  We've been through so much and I put her through hell these past few months but she stuck by my side and has loved me unconditionally.

She is the best friend I could have ever asked for and I hope one day we'll be sitting on a porch with each other and our significant others, eating life up.

I love you, Amanda.  You're the best and having this apartment and sharing life with you is the greatest gift that has ever been bestowed upon me.  And as much as I go on about romance, I would take my friendship with you over any trifling little crush or fling any day.  We're soul mates, through and through.

I am just happy she is having an opportunity at something healthy and kind to her.  Someone who appreciates her and treats her right.  It's how a guy should treat a girl.  And to be honest, I'm glad it's her who's being treated this way and having this chance.   Despite how I feel, I wouldn't switch our situations and what we've been through.  She deserves this.

I love you cutie and I hope you are enjoying yourself.  And Zach, thanks for showing me that there is still hope that there are decent guys out there.  Just keep being chill and respectful and I won't have to go kicking your butt :p  But I doubt that I will hehe

this is the first thing i've wrote for months, and i'm pretty scared of PEOPLE SEEING THINGS I WRITE EVER OH NO but i'm all chilled out and not really bothered right now :33 unbeta'd/don't care

Gamzee likes to drive slow.

He says, if you've got no motherfucking place to be all up at, why the fuck rush to get there? Why not motherfucking take a while to look at all the green shit nature goin' on around us?

To which Karkat usually replies, because it's dark, fuckass.

Less frequently he doesn't say anything and just gazes past the window. His eyes dart between silhouettes of fields with hedgerow borders and farmhouses and towering powerlines, and the only reason he can see them at all is from the puke-orange glow of the city further away.

Gamzee likes to drive with the radio just about audiable. When a song he knows comes on, he hums softly, a warm, vibrate-y sound which fills the car. He' shifts the car up a gear, a conductor's flick of the wrist, and nods his head from side to side in time to the music.

They take the old Astra miles, eating up the road and thankful of its endless supply. When they approach a hill, Gamzee speeds up so that when they go over it their stomachs flip and the car's suspension whines mechanically upon landing.

Eventually they find a place to park up, somewhere with a view. Karkat's favourite place is beside the canal, lined with houseboats and a streetlamp that flickers. Sometimes they'll take a walk down in the dark, away from the boats, Karkat constantly fretting that his friend is going to trip over his shoelaces and fall in, until they reach a bench and he can relax until the walk back. Gamzee smiles at nothing in particular. Sitting down, mindful of any bird shit or snails, Gamzee produces a glass pipe and baggie of weed from his jeans pocket and lights up. Waiting for his turn, Karkat watches the ripples of water reflecting the faint traces of light.

Back in the car, engine off but with the radio still playing, they climb into the back seat and that's when Gamzee remembers he's got a tupperware box of hash brownies in the glove compartment and has to lean over Karkat and the passenger seat to fetch them. He says he almost forgot about those motherfucking baked little miracles, he says they'll solve all their motherfucking problems. Karkat doesn't mention they don't have a drink.

They share the brownies and when there's only a couple left Gamzee motions that Karkat can finish them as he rolls a joint. He doesn't offer his best friend any as he knows that rad little fucker is well and truly stoned by this point and he's glad to have helped him on his merry motherfucking way with it.

Karkat mumbles something, laughs. He lets himself slide sideways and Gamzee is there to meet him and wrap an arm round.

Gamzee likes to slowly play with his hair.
