MID-AUTUMN gift to @mokvton 🌕 ( pokes @prscutor )
Madara had officially applied a two-day leave from work in order to spend his time in the opening of the Mid-Autumn festival in the Uchiha Clan. ( three days was possible if he had tried harder, but he did not wish to argue with the council. it felt pointless. )
The opening was the most important and sacred event of the festival, for its grandeur and cheer would dictate the ten day celebration -- which ends in ( an unofficial ) matchmaking game. And the days before it happens? Loads of decorations in the form of animal shaped lanterns lining the boundary of roofs, red papers and ribbons donning the columns of the residence, and the kitchens full of busyness with preparing the ingredients of traditional foods and pastries.
However, Madara still made it a point to visit Hashirama. Though he felt a certain wall between them in the recent months ( likely due to his own emotions and seclusion ) Madara was still one to honour the significance of his clan’s traditions.
Reunion.
Hopefully.
Thus knocking on Hashirama’s door early in the morning, and him dressed in a sky tinted hanfu ( light blue, soft shaded clouds ) with a sash of creamy white tightly wound around his hips, accentuating his slim waist, Madara brought two boxes of traditional mooncakes ( 8-piece set ) to the Hokage’s table. It was carefully wrapped with red satin and pink silk, the patterns of a white rabbit hand sewn onto the fabrics. Each mooncake, once their individual boxes have been uncovered, has 火 ( fire ) carved into its honey glazed skin.
“For you, and.. your family.” declared him with an obeisance nod, chakra focused and all too intuitive ( fearfully so. ) yearning Hashirama’s acknowledgement.
