Some new jewelry with glow in the dark resin work! The wings are the only commercial mold here, I made the rest myself-- the skulls, jaw, and tooth from real ones, the tentacle frame from polymer clay sculpture.

First skull of the year was a right challenge.
Earthworms are Moles main food source infact they need more than half thier body weight in earthworms to keep going. Interestingly some Moles keep them alive in special chambers within the tunnel systems. Much like when a Wasp keep prey alive for the young they immobilise them so they wont wriggle away, a sharp bite to the head segment of the worm does the trick.

I got a nice lil collection going now!
mole skull progress pictures! I pulled him out a bit early to get all his teeth out and secure. I only lost one incisor which was easily replaced!
Today was my birthday so I got myself a skull I’ve wanted for a while: an American beaver (Castor canadensis).
@gecko097 also sent me these two skulls as a birthday gift: an eastern mole (Scalopus aquaticus, left) and a thirteen-lined ground squirrel (Ictidomys tridecemlineatus, right).
Can't sleep... time to draw more nightmare fuel! Mole skull study, roughly 30 minutes
Some inked sketches that I forgot to post. Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, holidays and stuff y’know :3
WIPs, these will all become parts of jewelry or of shadowbox pieces later, but I can't resist sharing when something comes out this cool! Made all the molds myself for these, the tentacles from polymer clay sculptures I made, and the rest from real bones and teeth.
