I'm not deep enough in the trenches these days to write it myself, but I want to see a post-canon fic that deals with the Moling Su sect. No one wants them to stay around, but Su Minshan's disciples aren't going down without a fight.

He has just spawned out of nowhere???

Cute lil grumpy guy. This is my fav Minshan and I'll PROTECT him 😤
Secrets of Moling Su 📍📍📍📍
A few months later, the moon rage pandemic has gone away, thanks to Huangdi, Jiaoqiu and his medical team. Everything was back to normal for the fox spirit realms and the Jianghu.
So now, the planning of Rusong and Aqing's wedding is back in focus- and the Moling Su clan is celebrating their heritage and history! It has been about 30 years since Moling was refurbished by Su Minshan and Yao Huangdi.
Their ancestral hall however had chests of documents and other records, untouched till this day, as they feared that it would've been destroyed by the Wens.
Su she and his sect members: *showed their gratitude towards Huangdi by kowtowing*
Yao: thank you so much for inviting me to your event, Su Minshan.
Su she: I must, Huangdi. You're the reason why my clan is flourishing. I've told you that I wanted to reform my own sect, many years ago, and you made my dream come true when it all looked impossible.
Leaving that cruel sect was the best idea of my life.
Yao: it's good that you don't have to
depend on anyone again. And luckily you had your own sect to fall back on.
Su she: felt like I built it from dust.
Yao: you weren't alone. Many other clans had to rebuild their homes.
And look, you're my chief cultivator.
Su she: all because of you. I'm delighted to get such an honour, to be your Xiandu.
I love you, Huangdi.
Yao: I love you too, Minshan. And I appreciate you.
Su she: I'm proud to say that I submit to you and you alone.
Mo xuanyu: awww so sweet! Shanshan!
Xue yang: sounds like wedding vows.
Su she: xue yang. This isn't the time to tease me.
Xue yang: every time is a good time to tease you.
Suyin: though growing up away from the sect, I'm still a Su. And I thank you a million times for your contribution, Huangdi.
Yao: no problem. I was just helping out someone who's dear to me.
Su she: *kisses his hand* shall we head to the ancestral hall.
Yao: certainly, Su Zongzhu.
You have your ritual to perform.
Su she: and you shall be a part of it. *escorts him in*
Suyin: oh A-Shan. Treating Huangdi like a bride.
Su she: Suyin. You won't understand how special he is to me.
Huangdi is my heart and self esteem.
Moling Su's Ancestral Hall 📍
Su Minshan, his clan members, his beloved Yao Huangdi and Suyin entered the ancestral hall with incense. Before giving their offerings, they performed three bows to honour their elders.
Su she: this is Su Laozu's plaque.
Him and Lan An were sworn brothers you know.
The Sus and Lans vowed to always protect each other. But apparently that was forgotten.
Yao: how tragic hearing about good friends becoming enemies over tine. I hope history doesn't repeat.
Su she: same. It's best for my sect to be independent, and keep their distance away from them.
Su Fengge: *kowtowing* Su Laozu, forgive me for dating Jingyi er Dianxia. I know he's a Lan, but I kinda love him.
Anyways, please please please help me pass the imperial exams! As you know that exam is compulsory for our sect.
I want to be as successful as Su shushu.
After the ancestral hall, they all settled in the conference hall, where Su she would share info on the founding of the sect.
Su she: My yeye, Su Bohai, had enforced his own family techniques into his sect. Like teleportation and the art of Bian Lian (mask changing dance)
Thanks to my ancestors, I had the ability to invent the teleportation talismans.
Before that, one depended on their swords and other items to teleport. Now it's pocket sized.
During the Formation era, where the 5 great clans came to be, Su Laozu and Lan An were inseparable. They vowed to protect each other.
However, that was the past. We shouldn't be bitter. We must raise our heads high, and make progress.
We have been progressing more than them, am I right? Moling Su is the city of democracy. Where all clans meet. There's no honour greater than that.
Su Laozu, Adie and yeye Su Bohai, had always taught me to always be loyal to those you show you respect. Because someone will be loyal to you in return.
Su she: Suyin, can you share the symbolism of our clan flower.
Suyin: sure, Zongzhu.
The Lilac flower symbolizes modesty and good luck. When Su yeye was going through his hardships, he saw a couple of then near a path, and got inspired to invent a new Moling Su technique.
Su Fengge: waawww!! Zongzhu, I became an apprentice of one of the clan elders, to help me study. And that day, they were collecting old files that was hidden away for ages. We came across Su Bohai's diary and accounts, and a couple other things from our family.
Su she: that's excellent! We'll all examine them together.
Su Fengge: it's written that Lao Su gad performed for an emperor.
When I thought emperor, I thought of Meng Huangdi, and was meaning to ask him.
Then I dropped it! It could be any emperor.
Su she: wait. Let me see.
Yao: there aren't any records on any of my ancestors meeting Su Bohai.
Only one account I remember, that says something about the Bian Lian performance.
"A talented man who can change many faces in a second"
But half the script is missing.
Su she: huh.
Then cultivators and fox spirits never mixed.
Suyin: *reads* "I've performed for the emperor of fox spirits, for only 4 minutes. As there were many other performances. I hope I've pleased him."" - Su Bo Hai.
So another thing about Su She that interest me is where Moling is located.
Now Moling is located above the river, but there are no city in that location except for the closest one being Nanjing which is right below the river. I think it was a deliberate decision for the two most prominent clans of Jiangsu to be located at the most famous cities, but just move Moling a smidge up to keep with the narrative of inferiority.
Nothing too groundbreaking, but a good note for fanfiction writers to find inspiration of how to describe Moling climate wise and such in a realistic setting.
Looks like someone snuck into jgy's room
Minshan: Z...zongzhu. there you are. I almost got lost in Jinlintai 😵💫......again.
I was looking at this behind the scenes video, and spotted a flawless Minshan at the back.
My dude is so photogenic✨️✨️🤭
My poor underrated Shanshan
So I was looking up what “Moling (秣陵)” meant, and when separate it becomes “horse food mountain” or otherwise put “fodder mountain”.
Fodder: a person or thing regarded only as material for a specific use.
And I don’t know what to do with this information.
