Well, some of you may have seen me hype this story a few days ago, well, here it is!! Chapter 1 or the first one-shot in the series is here and my current plan is to post simply as future chapters are ready. For those who didn’t see my hype post the other day, I’m just going to copy-paste my “Summary,” for the story from AO3. “Follow through these interconnected one-shots the lives of Lena and Kara Luthor-Danvers and their daughter Molly. These stories will tell the story of their lives while trying to be an interfaith family. Kara as you might have guessed worships Rao. However, for this story I’m also integrating a headcanon I’ve got and have been developing of Lena having grown up a Christian, giving up on it (especially due to the church she went to in question), and later finding her faith as a Christian again, this time on her own terms. And so they decide to raise Molly as both a Christian and a follower of Rao - making them an interfaith family, of sorts.Join me as we glimpse different moments in the life of this family as they interact and engage in and with religion, in various ways. The one-shots (at least I’m aiming for these to all be one-shots) will be in the same “universe,” but will be separate, especially as I’ll be jumping around in time some.” As may have been evident in my post the other day, I’m super excited about this story and in fact not only am I working on the second part, but I have about 10 more ideas sketched for this story already. And as I mentioned in my other post, basically, this isn’t coming completely out of nowhere for me. I am a (practising) Christian myself. (A bi, trans, Christian woman, but a Christian nevertheless) Also for anyone who is reading my other story (“Becoming Zhed”) - don’t worry my plan, at least, is to still work on both!!
