on a scale of thor 1/2 to ragnarok, how ooc is thor?

somehow, they made it worse. they took his Ragnarok characterization and then added making him the butt of every single joke, treated his depression/ptsd like comic relief, dumbed him down, recycled his character arcs from thor 1/2 (much like Ragnarok did), and also massively depowered him. at least in Ragnarok they allowed him to maintain his cleverness and emotional awareness for the most part. in endgame, they completely took that away from him.

i did honestly enjoy the movie. it’s the most i’ve actually felt in a marvel movie in a long ass time. but they did thor SO dirty.

the only good part we got out of it was closure with Frigga. but then they shat on the rest of the franchise so.

But omg, like I’ve heard of this game a long time ago and I’ve seen the brothers in the Bendy, Felix the Cat and sometimes Animaniacs tags, but I never really paid them much attention but now that the game’s out and shit?? I just love it so much?? Heck, I even got the game today myself and despite dying a lot, I’m having an absolute blast! With my strong love for cartoons and soft spot for old school stuff like this, this game is quickly becoming a huge fav and I hope we’ll get a cartoon series for it aaahhh

Also I really love Cuphead himself he’s so cute what the heck

She did! The camera was focused on Rocket and what he was doing, and it was truly background noise/muffled but it was when a servant came to bring Jane her Asgard clothing!! And girl asked for pants!!!! You can tell how thirsty I am for new Jane Foster content because she asked for pants!!!!!! and i’m so excited about it!!!!!!!! and the servant seemed confused about her terminology and Jane said something along the lines of “nevermind, this is fine”!!!!!!!!

man, the picture i'm seeing on my dash is basically adding up to not bothering lol. i mean, i'm currently sick so can't commit to leaving the house for 4 hours so the decision is made for me but ughhhhh

i was looking forward to him being sad as well! depressed puppy is like, something i would have accepted.

I was fully anticipating the depression, but what I was NOT anticipating was the russos literally making his character a joke when it seemed like they found an ok enough balance of ragnarok/old thor for infinity war (and didn’t fucking depower him)

if you’re solely going for love of the thor franchise, then yeah, I’d skip seeing it in theaters.

Yep, I’ll definitely be cross posting both here and AO3. Tbh I’m excited to read them too, I just wish the author was a faster writer.

That's the thing. Anyone can play *Batman*. It's the Bruce Wayne performance that'll make a Batman stand out. Christian Bale was alright. He definitely had that playboy thing down, but very few Batman actors have realized that Bruce Wayne is the persona.

The Dark Knight trilogy focused only on the playboy part because that’s the cool part of Batman, I guess. I think Bale played the playboy part as a cover, but it was covering up 1000000% Angsty Bruce instead of Half Angst Half Batdad Bruce.
