Let's say my family situation really is far from good at the moment and it's made things worse for me with depression and anxiety. I'm going to Northeastern, which has a year round program, but next summer it's not mandatory to stay so I'm going to apply to my summer camp and some on campus programs so I don't go home. 

It's worse with my father, he's always been emotionally abusive and since I turned 18 it's been really hard to take. He stole some money from me, was manipulating me and threatened not to go to my HS graduation because his girlfriend (of like 2 months, not even a serious relationship) wasn't invited to the party. 

My mom and I are close but she can be very clingy and needy. Like, she tends to start crying when I talk about planning my career if it involves anything but being close geographically to her, and all she talks about is how she's glad I won't be far so I can see each other even though I don't plan on coming home often for aforementioned reasons. 

It's really exhausting and I end up being in the middle of my parents and being the emotional babysitter for my family. I'm an independent person so I can't really deal with living with my parents either. It's just a pain in the ass -_-

Richard sat ridged on the sofa, waiting for the front door to open and reveal Molly. She had texted telling him, not asking him, that she was coming over. Jim was out, so really she could treat him however she wanted and not fear the consequences. He was a little worried for her arrival.

He hadn't had a case in a week, and he was going crazy. To quell his intense boredom, Sherlock had buried himself in his experiments-until his microscope had broken. Now he spend most of his time at the lab, using the microscopes there to observe changes in the liquids he was studying. His eyes were currently millimeters away from the eyeglasses as he focused on the slate. "Molly?" he called out without looking away. "Molly?" He looked up. "Molly?" he called again. Where was she?
