Eurovision 2015
It's Eurovision season again! Eurovision is one of the longest running television programs in the world. Celebrating it's 40th season this year, Eurovision was started as a way to help bring together post war Europe. Each participating country submits one song to the competition. Notable past winners include ABBA (Sweden) and Céline Dion (competing for Switzerland).
Moldova has been participating for the last 10 years. The 1st Semi-finals to select the Moldovan song choice begins today. You can live stream the competition on Moldova 1 here once it begins:

The Surprise Cave in Criuleni
At about 2 km from the in the woods, on the right bank of the Nistru River is the “Surprise Cave” with relics from the Sarmatian period and bat colonies, revealed in the 70′s (20th century).
The cave has three levels with many rooms, potholes, tunnels strung on a length of approximately 1700 m. Many of the rooms have received names, which in some way characterize them: “Great Room”, “Tunnel”, “Saddle”, “Ledge”, “Cinema”, “Cutting Edge”, “Canyon”.
The cave needs to be taken under protection, to keep the inside and outside clean.

Culture of Ethnic Minorities in Moldova
In the Republic of Moldova there are many ethno-cultural associations. 18 minorities – the Ukrainians, Russians, Bulgarians, Gagauzians, Jews, Byelorussians, Poles, Germans, Gypsies, Greeks, Lithuanians, Armenians, Azerbaijanians, Tatars, Chuvashs, Italians, Koreans, Uzbeks – have associations which operate under the form of communities, societies, unions, centers, cultural foundations etc. By virtue of the principle of equality and universality of cultural legislation, the ethnic minorities have the possibility to develop their traditional culture and national art. In Chisinau there is the Russian Dramatic Theatre „A.P.Cehov”; in Ceadir-Lunga (ATU Gagauzia) – the Gagauzian Dramatic Theatre „Mihail Cekir”; in Taraclia – the Theater of the Bulgarians from Bessarabia „Olimpii Panov”.
