I don't know if you do song fics, but if you do, could you write something sherlolly for 'cheers darling' by damien rice? Love your writing btw, especially your Mycroft.

Thank you sweetie! I don’t actually do those, but I’ll do what the song inspires me to do (I owe the ‘O’ album actually, bought it round the time it came out, hehe). 

It’s almost pedestrian and rather ‘common’ the way his little brother is seated by the grim looking bar. A glass is in his hand, but there’s just remnants of ice left in it. Mycroft is almost relieved it’s not stronger, the type of style his brother Sherlock enjoys from time to time, which would have him up during the nights worried. He’d always personally had a flair for dramatics, so did his brother, but he was thankfully aware of his own behaviour. 

Sherlock, however, was not. 

“ - And here I find you-,” he begins, half-annoyed to see his brother stare blandly ahead, as if the sentence has already been passed. 

‘Molly Hooper is married’. 

He desists rolling his eyes, as he settles down besides him on a stool, irritatingly aware of the oily substances on the surfaces, which will certainly mean that he’ll need to send his clothes to the cleaners. 

“Why are you here?” said his brother drawing him back to the present. 

Mycroft smirked slightly, glad to see Sherlock hadn’t fallen entirely through the rabbit hole. His speech might be slurred and he reeked of drink, but it was nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a couple hours of sleep. 

“To congratulate you-,” he begun. 

“On my - escape-, his brother spat, whipping his head to look at him, deep furrows between his brows. 

He paused. 

“No,” Mycroft said. “I’ll have a brandy, please,” he said addressing the bartender who soon brought him a glass, while his little brother stared, eyes and jaw slack. When he finally had a glass in hand and took a lengthy sip, he amusedly observed his brother reaching the end of his rope. “...She didn’t marry him.”

Sherlock proceeded to fall off his stool. 

Mycroft tutted. “I’d postpone any amorous speeches for when you’re able to keep your limbs in one piece, perhaps?” he said smiling.

please don’t be embarrassed for being upset. Getting the frustrations out in words can really help and I don’t think anyone around here judges you for that. I really hope things get better real fast for you because you deserve it. You really do

Thank you so so much! I've having a lot of emotions right now and the ones that are good are coming from the fact people have been there for me. Lashing out is usually mature, but it can be psychologically healthy. I hope no one judges me, they can kiss my ass if they do.
