I can show you the world... ⁣ ⁣ And I will do anything and everything to make it so you can explore and learn and experience everything to the fullest. I know you couldn’t see the boat I was pointing too, but you could hear it so I made sure to position you toward the sound so you could get the full experience of the boat driving past us. It’s little things that we’ve had to relearn ourselves to give you the full experience as any “typical” kid would. We now tell you left or right when putting your backpack on or when we’re making a turn. We announce people when entering. We are learning sign language to help you communicate your needs in way that works for you. This is a life we never imagined, but we’re here and I’m living for it. Every time you touch a new texture or take a step (in your gait trainer) it’s the best feeling in the world.
