momotooru. part 2 / ??

“tooru-chan!”

there is giggling near momo’s right, and she attempts to lunge in that direction, but the lithe form of one invisible girl has slipped past her, already preparing to strike elsewhere.

the thing with a girlfriend who was invisible was the fact that she can sneak kisses whenever she pleased.

sure, they’ve turned it into a game. and more often than not, tooru would win because of her overwhelming advantage. did that give her the right to just creep next to momo in order to pepper her with kisses whenever she had her guard down?

yes, actually. momo didn’t mind in the slightest.

but now, oh now, momo wants to win their little game. she is always losing against tooru, and after all the feather light kisses on her skin, however fun they are, momo also wants to impart the same shivering feeling on her girlfriend.

they’re sitting side by side in the commons, watching a familiar infomercial about hair products. tooru’s head is resting on momo’s shoulder and momo can see the ribbons tied around tooru’s hair from her peripheral.

tooru can’t help but snuggle closer, pointing at one that shows momo and kendo from class b. momo can’t help but glance at tooru, feeling hair brush against her shoulder.

“you should wear your hair like that more, momo-chan.” tooru exhales sleepily, snuggling closer. momo’s a little out of it too, realizing that she’s a bit tired herself. 

they don’t move away though.

“oh, i want to tell you something, tooru-chan.” momo says, lifting herself a little straighter. tooru yawns, but scoots a bit, turning to momo. or, momo assumes so, considering the ribbon.

“hm? what is it momo-chan?” tooru asks, and momo imagines a confused expression on the other girl’s face.

momo leans in, and tooru turns to lead her ear. she’s curious now. whatever momo wanted to tell her must be a big secret. and all of a sudden too. 

instead of words, tooru feels momo’s lips tracing the shell of her ear, planting a chaste kiss on it that sent a shiver up her spine. tooru could feel it, and then some, as she yelped in surprise.

“momo-chan!”

momo simply smiled and kissed tooru again.
