Another Beating, Another Scar ll -Closed- Montparnasse and Azelma
Eponine had been gone for a great while now. When she first left, their mother and father didn't really notice. But as soon as they did, their father thought, that for some reason, it was all Azelma's fault and started beating her. Many nights, she would run out of their little house, in complete fear of their father, looking behind her every once in a while to make sure he wasn't following her. She put up with a lot of things with her family, but beating her was where she drew the line.
This night had been the worst. Her father was drunk, and he had a couple bottles. He was angry and started to take it out on Azelma. At first it was just punching and yelling, she could take that. But after a while, he got more angry. He got angry enough to break a bottle and stab her in the stomach for it.
Azelma gasped when she felt the bottle enter her stomach as a wave of searing pain hit her. She quickly brought it out of her stomach, as much as she could. She ran out as fast as she could, feeling some long piece of glass move up to her flesh. She pulled it out with a new wave of pain flooding through her.
Soon, she reached an alley where barely anyone went. She fell to her knees as she gripped her stomach with both hands. She gasped for breath as tears fell down her cheeks. She fell to her side, watching the blood from her stomach fall to the ground and make a pool around her.
This is it. I will be dead by morning if I don't get help. Azelma thought hopelessly. Azelma, deciding that she had no other choice, started yelling and screaming for help. Soon, she had no more strength to yell or scream anymore. She just laiyed there, silently crying.
