It would deadass be so funny in my Sonic BOOM Au if "Knuck Knuck Who's Here" was still an episode and bro LEGIT FORGOT his parents existed because this is just how Boom Knuckles works.... It's revealed when he stands up "Oh no! I'm going to be late for dinner with my parents" Not even 24 hours after that episode. And the rest of the gang is standing there like "this bitch can't be serious" so they follow him discreetly to make sure he's not falling into another trap. This mf is traversing the most insane distance and UP A MOUNTAIN to a huge rope ladder that leads to Angel Island. And yeah there they are, his parents. The rest of the gang is so flabbergasted they just fucking leave. Anyways little Boom Knux with his mom and dad. Bc they both get to live in this au! yay (it feels so foreign to make them so lightly toned but like I'm trying to make their colors more 'canonical' so that means lighter snouts and brighter fur.)
