[My Bday #TBT]⁣ ⁣ I had such an awesome surprise for my bday last weekend. We got to #Monasterevin village, Co. Kildare at around 3 pm on Friday. Firstly, I thought we'd be spending a couple of nights on the barge. However, a fella arrived and then I thought. Okay, there is someone to navigate the barge. Surprisingly, he only gave us information on how to navigate. I always enjoy taking photos that aren’t “perfect” but show the landscape as it is in the moment. Having the workmen on the bridge makes the photograph for me.

Mission Complete! Another no Spend weekend in the bag, #emocourt #monasterevin #easterevents. We are so lucky in Ireland with the old houses and gardens we have knocking around the country. The OPW ( office of public works) Do a great job in maintaining them and they’re mainly free or ridiculously cheap to enter. : They are great places for picnics, feeding ducks and soaking in s but if history 😊 : We also had a really close friends birthday to attend and since we’ve made the agreement this year of no presents and I’m not drinking then that didn’t cost us any more than some snacks bought out of our food budget.
