grocery shopping is so intimate, and not just because you'd have to hold my hand the whole time because i get lost easily, there's just something about the still quietness when they're empty or near empty. looking at the produce together and making sure they're perfect for buying, getting more snacks than is probably necessary, deciding on the names of the cats and dogs shown on their respective food products. there's just something about it.
