I know I posted this one already a little while back, but I was scrolling through my phone and this one hit home for some reason so I hope you don't mind me reposting it. 😫 I keep wondering what the world will look like once this is all over. We are going through an enormous, tremendously impactful collective trauma, and it feels like life has been reduced to its essential parts and is being dismantled in front of our very eyes. It's an instance in which, as social animals, we would crave the reassuring, loving contact of others, but we are dangerous for each other, as well as being essential too. The contradicting nature of such an event is so deep and so all-encompassing. I feel so much despair because I want to comfort and help as many as I can, while I also have to deal with my own inner turmoil. It's all so life-altering and incomprehensible, all so deeply impactful and important. We will all come out of this different, and I wonder what it will all look like.
