The fresh smell of the sea assaulted Tamaki’s nose as the blond took a deep breath. The beach in Wonderland was vastly different than in Japan, and Tamaki couldn’t help but stare awe in at the pink grains of sand decorating the horizon. He laughed gleefully before taking a hurried breath through his nose to calm himself down.

“I-----” The single word lingered on Tamaki’s tongue as curious blue eyes glanced around the area. They widened with excitement when he saw the most treasured area on the entire beach, and the blond awkwardly ran after his. His feet kicked up sand as he ran, his body teetering as he ran like an excited child.

He threw his bag on the floor, listening to it pitifully plop as he stomped his foot. “I claim this spot as ours! Unless...” He turned towards his group and gave his signature puppy dog eyes. “Unless you think we should claim a different spot?”

A soft sigh escaped from her lip as Mio walked down the sidewalk, to think that it’d be this hot out already was something she didn’t really expect. Not only that something she also didn’t expect was to be put in the friend zone so many times in a single day. Mio had already hit on most of the girls that were at the pool today so now she was kind of left with not much to do, so she took a stroll. But right after a swim? Boy was she being extra active today. And this stroll took her to an odd place she had never really visited. The Hyacinth Host Club...what on earth was that? Mio shrugged she was bit hungry maybe it was a bit of a fancy resturant-

Nope. Definitely not a resturant. The moment she had walked inside it became bluntly obvious this was not a dine in resturant, but boy was it hella fancy! Mio blinked blankly with a smile on her face as she gazed around the establishment, so many pretty rich girls, and even a few pretty guys that started to make her question herself for a moment. Only a moment. Besides her attention was soon drawn by the person approaching her, no doubt was he coming over to kick her out probably, she was wearing a base of the line outfit anyone could buy. But deciding to have a bit of fun and play with assumptions she decided to talk first. “Oh my~ So this i where you’ve been keeping my cuties is it? That’s a bit unfair you know~. Keeping them in such a secluded place all for yourselves~!” Now to see how this guy reacted, she could swear it would be amazing, but only time would tell.

For a split second, Tamaki felt his forced smile waver. Of course Kyoya knew him better than this, but Tamaki couldn’t help but pretend that everything was okay. He had just grown up this way; and he couldn’t allow someone else’s mood to diminish just because he was giving into negativity.

“But I am smiling,” he said. His smile grew a tad more as he felt the reverberating pain in his chest. “Thank you for your concern, though. It... means a lot.”

“You’re making a face. I know that face. It won’t work, I will resist it.”

    Haruhi looked up at him in slight confusion at his words. Had she really been making a strange face for him to have responded like that? She’d only been slightly upset that Kyoya had shot down their idea for a small event at the host club, but it hadn’t bothered her that bad, she’d rationalized why it wasn’t good to go with the idea. She didn’t want him to agree with something just because she was making some sort of face!

    “Ah, I’m sorry senpai, i didn’t mean to make any sort of face that would make you change your mind! Just ignore it! Plus you’re right, we aren’t financially stable enough at the moment to go ahead with the event.”

Kyoya didn't know why this was this a good idea since the boy worked at a bakery and was always with sweets but this wasn't any cake. It was a cake he actually took the time to learn to bake for this special occasion. He knocks on Kaoru's Apartment.

   Usually on his and Hikaru’s birthday, the two slept in together and let the morning pass lazily, in high spirits for the afternoon. However, this birthday he was alone -- again, and again he found himself abandoning old traditions that didn’t feel right to perform without his brother by his side. Today, he chose to sit and appreciate the beautiful sunrise instead, treating himself to the sweetest coffee he could make and a warm blanket to watch from the window of his dorm room.

   No more than a few hours later, a soft knock sounded at his door and the Hitachiin turned his head. He supposed it could have been one of the Arisatos or Marinette, but he wasn’t sure he’d even told them. His expectations of it being too early for his school mates, being just passed 8:45, were shattered as he opened the door to the familiar face of his upperclassmen. “Kyoya-Senpai! To what do I owe this nice surprise?”

The stares weren’t uncommon to Cheshire, and he normally learned to tune them out. But recently these situations had changed, and there was something different to the looks that people cast his way. It caused his tail to bristle under his shirt whenever he couldn’t understand these stupid looks or emotions.

But this stare--or would it be better to call it a glare?--couldn’t be shook from his sight. Or from his direction. With how comfortable the cat-eared man was, he really didn’t want to move. And a part of him hoped that the look he was receiving was filled with disdain. Those were the most purrfect ones that he could experience.

“Oh, look! It’s megane-chan. Sit by me since you can’t tear your eyes away from this fiend,” Cheshire drawled, flashing a trademarked grin. He stared at the male, trying to remember his name. It was of no importance. “What brings you back to this hell hole that everyone lovingly calls Wonderland?”

    Haruhi glared at him after the words had left her mouth. She couldn’t believe he would think that she was simply upset because he had upset Tamaki, she wasn’t that kind of person, and he knew that. It only served to fuel more of her anger as she clenched her fists tightly. 

    It was rare that she let her anger get to her this bad, she liked to be calm and collected, to think things through before acting but sometimes these rich bastards were too much to handle. Always thinking they could act a certain way just cause they were rich and whatever. She was so tired of this.

    “Do you really think so lowly of me? That I would just so easily be upset because you upset Tamaki? He get’s hurt easily over the smallest things, it’d be too exhausting to constantly share his emotions just cause we’re in a relationship. I’m pissed off because you went too far this time senpai!”
