cleaning up bottles

Dear Taylor, 

We are twenty days into January, but I still started the day with “New Year’s Day”. 

And I’ve ended the day in the loveliest way - a bath. Is there anything better? 

Two things made this one especially magical:

one: “Mariana” by Monica Dickens. 

I’ll definitely be adding this book to my end table of books to someday give you. It was written in 1940, so there are dated moments within the pages that make you say, “Oh dear, that’s unnecessary”. But there are moments that would absolutely take your breath away. I just know they would. I can see you living in this world Monica Dickens has crafted. The whole book screams your name. 

two: my favorite wine, Helena Blush

If you ever find yourself in Crossville, Tennessee, you really must visit Stonehaus Winery. But if I were to find out you were at Stonehaus and grabbed your Helena Blush and went on your merry way, it would break my heart.
