This is the spanish version of the "If I Know You" song by http://www.soundcloud.com/ian-melvin. He wrote the song as an acoustic guitar version first. Then, http://www.soundcloud.com/milana-zilnik did a cover on the piano. Ian has invited everyone on SC to do a version of the song in their own language (or one of the ones they speak) There are several versions up now (German, Russian, and more! Go to Ian's page at the link mentioned above to see them all). Thanks Ian! btw, apologies if the translation isn't perfect...I'm not so great at that. Hey all! Went to a Gospel Fest today and was moved to record the sounds. So much soul and heart...love it. Gospel has been such an inspiration, though I am not a religious person really...but, I find that it does have the ability to lift your spirits and make you feel all nice and warm. So, I thought I'd pass on the feeling and maybe it will inspire you to write something as it did me. Enjoy! Btw, the group singing is from Compton, CA and is called Voices of Destiny. Wish you could have seen them dancing too...crazy to sing like that and dance so hard at the same time. I got tired just watching them:)

SoundCloud Heroes are kicking off the year with a large-scale community organized project: Audiobiography. Audiobiography is an opportunity to introduce your profile and sounds. Whats important to me?... justice, peace, love, soul. This is an abridged version I made to meet the 90 sec. req. The full song is in my tracks under the title "Bullet". The audio samples are from Dr. Martin Luther King and Maya Angelou, two of MY heroes. It's easy to participate. Record or creatively share a sound that describes and answers the question: who are you and what's important to you? Perhaps it's a freestyle rap, or a recording that features your latest piano composition as background music. Keep track to ~90 seconds. Name the track Audiobiography with your name, as such "Audiobiography: Monica Dockery." Add a description. Tag the track "audiobio" and upload.
