On A Budget? | Pati Dubroff's Perfect Palette

Looking for a neutrals palette that won't break the bank?

Why don't you try Pati Dubroff's Perfect Palette, an affordable collection of 12 eyeshadows--five mattes, seven satin/shimmer finishes (Swatches below), and a retractable brown eyeliner!  This palette retails at Costco for $17.99.

But let's get back to the product at hand.

This palette features a great range of neutrals that you can find in pretty much every standard "nudes" palette nowadays.  Although the packaging is cardboard, it feels sturdy enough, and it has a magnetic closure.  And even though it doesn't have a mirror--a 4-step how-to is in its replacement--I feel like the quality of these shadows makes up for it!

Most of the top row of shadows are matte, except for Woodrose, which is a satin finish.

The pigmentation on these shadows are great for what they're worth!  They're soft to the touch, almost like a cream.  They seem to blend very easily and they aren't chalky, or have major fallout!  I feel like the shades made available to you are easy to mix and match with--no guesswork here on which combination of shadows to put together.

At first glance the palette resembles Stila's In The Light Palette, and its 10 eyeshadows + smudge stick eyeliner retails for about $39, twice as much as you would pay for Pati Dubroff's Perfect Palette of 12 eyeshadows + retractable eyeliner.  It may not have the blue shade in Stila's palette, but I personally do not use blues as much as I gravitate towards browns, taupes, creams, and champagne shades.

The eyeliner itself is super creamy; I hardly had to apply any pressure for that baby to glide onto my hand.  I wouldn't use it on the water line, but I think that it would smudge really well on the upper lash line for a soft eyeliner look.  And because it's a dark brown, Not only is it retractable, it also has it's own sharpener at the very end of the pencil!  Convenient, I must say.

Overall, this palette is a must for a neutrals lover such as myself!  It's affordable, rich in pigmentation, and offers a great range of shadows for an everyday look!  If you've got a Costco nearby, keep an eye out for this in their "beauty" section.  If they don't have it available at your local Costco, there's always online! It's a steal!
