Day Twenty-Nine: Interacting with Someone

Monifa is quite amicable and gregarious, especially with people she knows and is comfortable around or if talking to a stranger who needs coaxing. She speaks in calm, measured tones that sometimes becomes soft is she’s uncertain or doesn’t want come off as a hostile or overbearing.

When someone is talking or venting, she listens intently to them while keeping both eyes locked on their movements or hand gestures or remains eye contact with them to show she is paying attention and taking their words into consideration. Her overall compassion and willingness to help others or make things right emits from her very being, making her someone many people feel drawn to, whether it is to ask for support or help, or simply watch her as she works and casts magic.

She is often is seen petting one of her cats or various animal strays when in deep discussion with a person. Monifa believes pets can having soothing presence on not only the person she’s interacting with but herself included. She loves animals so having them around help lifts her spirits when she’s conversing with strangers or friends.
