Monilla Teika was supposed to be a villain, but she's a saviour.
Upon the events on the most recent chapter, we have learned that there are daemons who would want to take Lithera back at once and would be angered at her for dying not being there to help them.
Sure we remember how this Astrum behaved as a fanatic and proyected all responsability on her, and we know his reasons and way to do things through the Current Astrum before Lithera sent him straight. Problem is there would be a good amount of people who would think like him.
To be precise, there are other daemons who don't want Lithera to overwork herself, which are the close circle of Moni. And that's not much of a coincidence.
As the original villain of the story, Monilla's role was, when she wasn't trying to murder Lithera, to try to turn her from her designated role, taking part of her workload, guiding her and suggesting her marriage with Pellus instead of what the novel set for Lithera.
None of those things are bad, of course not, but that takes stuff from her role as Chosen One who does all the heavy lifting.
Even if it's partially made by grief, those thoughts are spot on. Monilla was the first to say that the rest of the people should have been doing stuff and not put all on Lithera's shoulders, which led to her death because no one though that she would be assassinated.
Then, with Current Monilla.
The only difference here is that Current Monilla has this though on the right moment.
The result is that Monilla's plan to put Javier on the throne and taking the credit for some of the stuff she does also lifts Lithera's heavy burden, and the results are:
Lithera has less on her plate.
Lithera will not have that much spot light on her and will be able to have more room to live her life.
People who died on the previous world have survived.
With more people participating on the saving of the world, they will increase their forces to be stronger.
People seek guidance to be able to defend their land and that oppened the North.
It's not a surprise that those on Daemon Monilla's close circle are the ones who are on better terms with Lithera.
Which means that saved Lithera from a good amount of guilt over what happened after being FREAKING ASSASSINATED listen to that, Daemon Astrum, how can you say she abandoned you when she was KILLED?!?!
I don't mean Pellus doesn't have a hand on that matter....
But Monilla saved Lithera by being the one who rejected Lithera's role of Chosen One. Though she has her own reasons, that saved her.
Present one by taking things from her plate and not turning her into an object on a pedestal that carries everything, and the past one by reminding everyone that Lithera was indeed human and they should have behaved differently, which led to have allies between the daemons.
P.S.: that kind of makes Pellus a villain too on all that line, kind of?
