Perhaps getting here a half an hour early was not my wisest decision.

You have time to read, you have time to write or learn an art, invest your time in your next step. At no point did I imply your children were the issue, I said you were using them and your injuries as excuses to give up. Further, that tired old "you can't understand without children" bull isn't convincing when you're saying that you aren't allowed ambition once you become a poor single parent. You only run out of chances once you stop taking them. Wipe your tears, lick your wounds, and walk.

((so I’m offline and out of cosplay now, but something that I feel like is important to know and that I might not have made clear is that Monique has extreme carpel tunnel syndrome, which basically means that anything that requires her to use fine motor skills is painful and can make her arm lock up. So this partly contributes to why she’s lost hope and direction, because she actually can’t write for more than a few minutes at a time. She probably would have said something to that effect if I was still in character. Also, thank you drama-causing anon! I appreciate your stirring of the pot.))
