Other villains I’ve considered shipping include

Cruella and Sykes (I decided against this one, because nothing about Cruella suggests she’s into men and if they got too close she’d probably try to turn Roscoe and DeSoto into a coat) I think a Cruella pairing with more potential would be Cruella and Medusa (they’re so alike that Medusa was originally going to just be Cruella before she became her own villain). I could see Cruella and Yzma working too, since they’re both pretty interested in high fashion (and Yzma could turn people she doesn’t like into animals to give to Cruella for her fashion line...it’s the perfect crime)

I feel like Mim has an interest in the Horned King, but it’s not mutual. She likes his whole “doom and gloom” vibe.

The Horned King has some feelings towards Maleficent, but he keeps misinterpreting them as a desire to kill her. If they did get together it would be toxic as all hell. He’s a choker, she’s a bondage enthusiast...and neither are the kinky kind.

I could see Grimhilde and Gothel getting together, but I don’t know if it would last much longer than a couple of dates. 

Oogie and Facilier seem like a very good match...but it takes a brave soul to willingly date a giant potato sack full of bugs. Two bros chillin at the poker table, 5 feet apart cause they’re not gay! Both of them give me bi vibes to be honest.

I think Scar and Zira were a thing even before this au, but the canon refuses to say anything about that. Scar’s just like “My wife is a bitch and I like her so much” Although it wouldn’t surprise me if Scar ever had a brief fling with Shere Khan 

I’ll admit I love the fan pairing of Hades and Jafar but I have no idea how well it would actually work

Lucifer and Felicia are definitely a thing.

I already mentioned the Headless Horseman and Shan Yu as well as their horses.

Ursula has some interest in Facilier but no one is sure if he actually likes her back, or if he’s just being gentlemanly around her for nefarious purposes in the future. Of course, Ursula might be doing the same. They’re both experienced con artists.

Plenty of villains and henchmen alike are interested in Helga...but she’s definitely playing them.

Also there’s Doris and AUTO. AKA WALL-E and EVE but make it evil. (of course it seems a doomed relationship. Their goals and personalities are too different, and Doris is almost definitely just using him as a means to an end)

I want to say there’s something going on with Diablo and Hayabusa, too...but I’m not super sure if I want that to happen yet

“Well, well. What have we here?”

It couldn’t be.

That voice.

She jerked to her feet, turning, baring her teeth, heedless of the tear tracks on her face. Her hands glowed once more. “Insolent simian! Shouldn’t you be with the master? If you think to win his favor by—”

Valina stopped, abrupt.

No. That wasn’t right.

The wretch of a simian who followed her about was half skeletal in nature—flesh and bone, fit with a terrible little lobster claw of a hand. This creature…

It, he, hovered off of the ground, hands on his knees. His fur grew in a long mustache and eyebrows. Bandages covered his head, his tail. He wore a leather breastplate, and was covered in bald patches. His form was—strange. A bit too long, too lanky. Like he’d been bigger, and just… deflated.

Yet. He looked, and sounded, like her former minion.

“Who are you?” She demanded.

The simian’s mouth quirked. “You already know the answer to that.” He waved a hand dismissively. “After all, it sounds as if you’ve become acquainted with my… clone.” He sneered. “I find it far more interesting to know who you are.”

So. The little wretch she’d been forced to endure was a clone. That would explain why so much of her master’s power had clung to him, where it hadn’t their enemies.

“My name is Valina,” she says, stiffly. “They call me the Skull Sorceress.” And oh, that was another thing that had been ripped from her, wasn’t it?

“So. Tell me, witch, what failure was it that landed you here? What scheme of yours did the Hyper Force send so thoroughly down into the toilet, hmm?”

Valina drew up her chin. “I did not fail. The boy and his monkeys did not ruin my plans.”

“Well, clearly you did something. Or you wouldn’t be here, now would you?”

Valina scowled. That was the kicker, wasn’t it? Obviously she had done something wrong. Had… had made a mistake somewhere. Was it her failure to eradicate the Hyper Force? She had thought that leaving them for the master would be a welcome back present—after all, they had always been off limits before.

“It’s none of your business, simian,” she snapped. “You have already been discarded by the master. He would not even blink, were I to vaporize you where you stand.”

Mandarin didn’t look impressed. “You mean, after being sent all the way out here, you’re still professing loyalty to him?”

Of course. Anything else would be… unthinkable. He was the master. He had raised her from the hell that was the Skeletal Circle, from their misguided beliefs and foolish plots. He had given her power. Trained her. Changed her. He had taken such an interest in her—had given her duties, responsibilities…

What else was she supposed to do? Where else could she go?

“His vision for this world—“

Mandarin cut her off. “Please. His vision is nothing more than a ruined husk of a planet, fed off of by his precious ‘Dark Ones.’”

“You served him once too,” Valina snapped.

“We shared a common enemy,” Mandarin said.

I can and want to send you asks. First what was the comedy show, and second I know we're kind of talking about this in messenger but it was the first thing to pop into my head, five (or more) headcanons for Imp go.

okay so me and roommie, we went to see this guy ari shaffir (didn’t know who he was until half an hour prior), it was mostly jokes about growing up jewish, it was fun ykno. they gave us booze. we kept up with the booze two pubs over. a good sunday night when i have work in the morning. i have water fuck it.

IMP. IMP OUR BABY. 

largely an obedient child but there are some days where he will straight up vanish like “i will Not wear the outfit you have picked out for me. i am a rebel. fuck u” and hordak will have to send subordinates out to hunt him down so hordak can force that last boot on him

imp was picked up from a previously horde-conquered planet that hordak for some reason had an emotional connection to, maybe hatched after he crash-landed on etheria, and just stuck around and now hordak loves him

hordak doesn’t realise he genuinely likes & cares about imp at first, bc imp has never been in a position where his “useful vs useless” philosophy has been tested.

imp does not give a shit about science. he just cackles at all of hordak’s ventures, good or bad. hordak thinks that by having entrapta around, he has a free tutor for teaching imp about science. all entrapta teaches imp is how to ignore ethical dilemmas with a free conscience (he did not need a tutor for that, but the validation is nice)

you kinda know this already, but there is a moment where someone points out all the logical reason why imp should be sent out to spy directly on bright moon and hordak is like “hm. fuck you and how about Not”

Heyo just popping in to say I love your Hazbin Magica AU. You said in tags to ask questions and I'm going to abuse that invitation: Do you have an idea when/how/why each of Charlie's friends die? (break my heart c'mon do it) Since there's Madoka, Sayaka, Kyoko, and Mami counterparts, is there a Homura too? Or is Vaggie filling a double role?

first off??? i’m love u and wld die for you???????

and second...all i got are concepts that are prone to change as we gain a better understanding of the characters+such after the pilot releases. maybe husk and katie die in a witch hunt, crymini breaks her soul gem in despair, alastor and a few other half-witches fully turn, etc etc. again,these are most likely temporary placeholders. the only things i feel are gonna stick is: vaggie’s descend to madness (sayaka’s classic “i was so stupid”) and mayhaps, angel growing to care for her as a little sister, similarly how mami looked after sayaka+attempt to die with her witch in tds. and charlie very likely ends up in a lone-survivor situation until she makes her Ultimate Wish.

as for the roles; yeaaaaah it’s obvious charlie is basically madoka and vaggie is sayaka with a dash of homuhomu. the rest are pretty much blurred from here. katie, tom cherri, and pentious are the kyokos each in their own fucked up way. husk, niffty, mimzy(?) and angel are the mamis(they have a play in looking after the girls), crymini has much of sayaka’s naivety and inevitably breaks down as well. alastor is more homura than anything? except crank the jackassery to 500.

now, there is no time travel in this- keep that in mind. HOWEVER, al does have the ability to foresee certain events to an extent, which mostly come to him in his dreams, and he knows the world is done for if charlie were to become a magical girl(not that he actually gives a shit what happens to the world), hence why he’s initially hellbent on driving her away from contracting at all costs. is down to murder her if he exhausted all other options. he’s shady as hell and barely reveals anything until it’s too late, talks shit about his own friend’s deaths even??? it upsets charlie enough to slap that perpetual grin off his stupid mug. al resented charlie(and to a lesser extent, vaggie) deeply for many reasons: for being stupidly naive and a potential threat to his only friends are the Main Ones. THATS ALL AT FIRST ANYWAYS, he does come to recognize how kind she truly is and genuinely values her safety+happiness as much as he does with his other friends. he protects her with his Life until fate serves him that Sweet👌McDeath.

vaggie on the other hand shares homura’s role post-new world, has charlie’s ribbon(?) and lil drawing and trident? the only difference her memories of charlie and their witchy friends come to her in brief glimpses, leaving her constantly pondering who these familiar strangers are. cherri, crymini, katie and tom are still around, doing what they do after they were given another shot at life

SRMTHG Secret Santa - House of Mirrors

MERRY SUPER LATE CHRISTMAS @monkeymindscream!!!! Sorry this took so long - I’ve had a heavy brain fog because of this stupid cold and wanted to make sure I wrote something worthy of your awesomeness! I hope you like it!

House of Mirrors Skeleton King’s new castle was a monster to navigate, filled to the brim with hallways that all looked the same and formless staff that couldn’t offer directions. The towering walls were pure bone, polished so heavily one could see their reflection in it, making the structure even more akin to a confounding house of mirrors. 

Mandarin realized he should have been more frustrated than he was, lost in his own home base with nobody but his reflection to talk to, but he found himself less motivated to get outside and take part in battle the more and more he wandered. Between the constant barrage of resentment came the occasional question: Why was he doing any of this? When had his loyalties shifted from wanting to rule Shuggazoom himself to being perfectly content as an underling? He tried to pinpoint when he’d made that compromise, but everything before he’d taken his most recent form seemed to blur together. He turned to the closest wall and stared at the mangled visage that was his reflection.

Until it wasn’t. 

“You simple fool!”

“WAH!!” Mandarin jumped a foot in the air when his reflection in the wall changed into that of his dead comrade, Valina. She looked just as disappointed in him as she had when she was alive. “So, your soul remains, witch? I wasn’t sure you possessed one.” 

“You’re one to talk! You’re nothing but a husk of an idea, Clone!”

“Do not” Mandarin’s fist smashed into the wall with no avail, “call me that!” 

“Oh, so you’re trying to forget now, Mandarin? Are you really such a fool as to have convinced yourself that you are something more than Skeleton King’s pawn?”

“You’re the one who chose to be a pawn, you overzealous, pathetic human!” 

“And look at what my sacrifice has wrought!” Valina cackled. “Shuggazoom writhes in shambles!”

“And you cannot rest even in death!” Mandarin examined Valina’s crooked smile. “You… you’re enjoying this, aren’t you?”

“Vastly! Praise the Skeleton King for his wise choice to free my spirit! Now, after my great efforts, I can be everywhere and nowhere! I’m free to watch what we have started play out! I’ve seen numerous enemies fall to the Dark Lord’s might! I’ve counted their tears and seen their bloodshot eyes moments before their demise! I’ve heard last words – so hopelessly sentimental – cut off by pure bloodlust! I-!!”

“Alright, I get it, you crazy sorceress!” Mandarin waved Valina off and resumed roaming the halls, but Valina continued to walk beside him in the mirrored wall like it was a casual Sunday stroll. “If there is so much to see, then go see it! Leave me be!” 

“Oh, but watching you play pretend is much more interesting than any of that, Mandarin.”

“What exactly do you mean by that?”

“Your inner torment is written all over your features; your pathetic desire to be more than just the pawn you know you are. You talk of me as if I was a fool in life, but I knew who I was, Mandarin! I was ready to sacrifice everything for the Skeleton King! Look at you, wandering these halls, pretending to be lost so you don’t have to face your destiny!”

“I said leave me be, witch!” Valina’s image vanished, but her laughter continued to echo through the chambers as Mandarin finally made his way to the West exit. He looked out upon the war-torn landscape… Shuggazoom, which was meant to be his. “I’ll show you destiny,” he murmured, looking back into the castle one last time. “I refuse to be met with such a predictable fate.”

I'm both really happy and really relieved that you specifically understood that Mandarin was repressing his desire to stim. You're the one who GAVE me that headcanon if I hadn't presented it well enough for at least YOU to pick up on it I don't know what I'd've done.

I mean, as someone who stims very regularly, (as in, i got this ask and stimmed into the 4th dimension) you kinda nailed it. That feeling that smiling isn’t enough??? You just explode?! you got it, dude. 

I’m very happy that I?? me?? gave you? that headcanon! I’m also glad for confirmation because I can never be sure about anything and I hope others pick up on it as well. Having a character be like me means the world to me.

In a situation where Valina ended up on the Hyperforce's side, which HF member do you think she'd be closest to (or tolerate the most, at least)?

If this happened in show, the writers’ choices would be Nova, Chiro, or Antauri. In that order. 

But I want the black-eyed trio to pull her out of the inevitable funk she falls into when she’s left without a purpose after forsaking SK.

I want Otto to notice she’s not doing great and ask her “wanna help me build a little moon buggy?”

“I don’t know the first thing about machines.”

“I’ll teach you the first thing! Come on, it’ll be fun”

And she ends up enjoying it. She helps him the next day just to have something to do, and at some point they end up with Gibson doing a lecture.

She loves astronomy. She was keeping track of half this stuff at the temple anyway! She asks genuine questions and pays attention and it’s not terrifying to learn stuff??????????? what a foreign concept.

“Wanna get up close to the stars? I’ll teach you to fly!”

She drives like a maniac but she loves every second of it. The basic human urge to go fast being fulfilled without her having to spend her own energy to get it???????? God, all that older brother/dad energy Sparx had in season 1 could be properly spent here.

She still has a unhealthy attachment to SK, though… But if she wants to honour him, she can honour his better side. With the science form gibson, engineering from Otto, some social skills from Sparx and practical application from all three? Combined with her own magic she could become the best alchemist since THE Alchemist.

I like the visualisation of Val in the throws of science just going WILD.

Holy shit guys.

I just finished the latest chapter (7) of @monkeymindscream’s Questionable and lemme just say it was fucking FANTASTIC. So fantastic, in fact, that I ended up leaving 10 comments on that ONE chapter.

(Yes. I said 10. I’m an in-line commenter, so I left a bunch of quotes + paragraphs of flailing. It was wonderful. This is why I don’t review things as often as I’d like to though, damn.)

Anyway. It was AMAZING and if anyone wants to come flail with me pls do. (And go shower them in comments PLS, they deserve all of them.)
