Howdy, my name is Soph! I’m 19, I go by they/them pronouns, and I’m autistic! This is my blog about my special interest, Super Robot monkey Team Hyperforce Go! My main, non-monkey blog is @the-sheep
I post a lot of art and writing, headcanons and theories, even a bit of fanfiction. I also reblog a lot of posts from the srmthfg tags, or just any monkey post I think is relevant. Reblog these posts with your thoughts, if you wish!

Ignore the horizontal line that goes through some of them. I dunno why my scanner did that.
during my free time over the past few weeks, i did some rough future designs for the main srmthfg cast! these exist in the same continuity as my characters, and take place a little while after the Soul of Evil finale
info under the cut!
Chiro: retained monkey features from the season two finale due to an overuse of the power primate. This also caused his eyes to start tinting slightly green, as visual indicator of the stress put onto his shoulders.
Jinmay: similarly to Chiro, due to the overwhelming amount of danger after Skeleton King’s ressurection, she is also using her abilities far more often, almost never switching out of robot mode. I included the heart chest motif from her mecha design, showing her desire to find her creator.
Nova: fundamentally altered after her experience with the macrocosm. She can still hear it calling out to her from time to time, fearing that it may be beckoning her back. One of the cracks on her helmet is beginning to reopen; a cosmic reminder that she still has work to do.
Otto: still as joyful as ever, he continues his job as the Hyperforce mechanic well. Internally, though, he’s not exactly sure how to deal with the onslaught of terror with everything going on. He does his best to push it back, but it’s slowly starting to poke through.
Antauri: replaced his eye lenses to their original color; a suggestion from the rest of the team that agreed it may help him feel a little bit more like himself in the silver monkey body. He finds himself connecting to the power primate more than usual. It seems like his usual meditation, but he himself is unsure if that’s really the case. It may be out of a personal reassurance that the power primate is still even there…
Sparx: after the Fire of Hate was removed from his body, he finds himself constantly shivering. He is fearful to admit that he misses its warmth. He blames himself for everything that happened after the finale. Despite his teammates constant reassurance, he emotionally isolates himself out of fear he’ll make it all worse.
Gibson: working tirelessly day and night studying new formless matter and its capabilities/qualities. He figures that there HAS to be something he’s missing, perhaps some sort of new mutation due to the resurrection. What on earth is making them stronger? His teammates fear for his sleep deprivation.
Funny how depending on who's saying it and where, the words "dark fantasy" could mean that the work contains a hardcore questionably ethical kink scenario, or it could mean that at some point there might be some kind of a Skeleton King.
We are excited to announce that the physical edition of Holy Shuggazine! is now available for purchase!
A few notes...
Questions about financial responsibility/profit were previously answered here, but feel free to send us an ask if there's any more!
The cover, tragically, does not have the title on the spine. This is not an error, it was just impossible to get it to print right
If you receive a copy of the zine with a printing error, please contact Lulu directly! We have done what we can on our end and they are quick to reply if there's an error on their end.
I think the most successful American homage to Tokusatsu in general is Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go, because I don't think anyone else has quite managed to capture the signature Tokusatsu Dissonance (TM) quite like SRMTHFG
like. it's hard to replicate the exact moment of self-reflection when there's some serious character drama going on in a Toku show and a character then proceeds to pull out a $29.99 toy sword (available in stores now), but if having lines like "Yes, I live on...if you can call what I've become living, hehehe...RAVAGED! Imprisoned in a living tomb! A mere mockery of what I once was! All. Because. Of YOU. But, it would seem that my prayers and supplications have been answered, because YOU are here now...for me to TEAR APART!" be dropped by a little monkey voiced by Mr. Ping from Kung Fu Panda does not do it for you I don't know what will
