I really have no complaints about the Pjato/Hoo series. They're fantastic stories, with lots of different genres all packed into one. I think they have a good message, and have a diverse cast.
The only slight problem I've noticed- why does EVERYONE have a god damn significant romantic other? And even worse- why do they have to be written so well?
It's like no matter how much I know I should, I can't help but ship them. It's the mark of a good author, I suppose. Like, Caleo? The concept seems so stupid. But once I read it...it was like, oh shit i ship it really hard.
So it's conflicting. I hope Reyna and Nico's characters can prove to the readers that you don't need to be in love to be happy. Romance is fine and stuff, but there's more important things. Don't let all these couples stress you out.
