so i just watched negativelegend's video, and i think while he brings up some interesting points, its nothing we didnt already know- but he mistakes it as what makes the show "bad." like we are already annoyed why/how we dont know chiro is the chosen one, etc., but thats not enough of a reason to say the show was bad/other shows did it better and is therefore inferior imo lol

They’re a real negative nancy. It might be the point of their channel.

They skip over literally all the character development except for Jinmay learning to fight. 

They... liked the alchemist reveal actually? that’s something that most outsiders tend to consider just Darth Vader but again.

No mention of the weirdly expansive lore

and compares it to Teen Titan ignoring how much Ciro contributed to both.

And hate the ending. Like literally everyone else.

Do you think since Mandarin really only had red eyes after he becomes cybernetic, then that’s because that’s the dark ones in his soul from when he jumped on the machines freeing them? So Mandarin was always kinda a jerk, but actually “evil” the entire time he was part of the hyperforce? Not just he suddenly changed agendas?

I go back and forth on the whole “Mandarin is corrupted” theory, but I draw him with red eyes regardless of what I think at the moment because it looks really cool.

It’s certainly possible that he is, but it’s a bit more flexible and a lot funnier if the second Mandarin was able to speak he requested the Alchemist give him red eyes. Both eyeshields and actual eyes. 

I probably have a post back in my blog about the Corrupted Mandy theory, and what it means if it’s true or not. But I’ll keep it at the red eyes can be separate from Mandarin’s evilness.

Who do you prefer: organic Antauri or silver Antauri?

Antauri's Antauri so I don't care haha. I liked the potential of exploring Antauri becoming fully robotic and I favor more robot stuff in general, but I don't think the show actually delved into it that well that I don't personally feel a real difference.
