🦄: " The hardest part of being a hero is definitely the waiting. There's nothing more frustrating than knowing that bad guys are planning something, but you don't want to do too much too quickly and make things worse. I guess that's one of the good things about having a herd that understands me: they keep me from getting too far into my own head.

SMG4 was the first person I met in the Mushroom Kingdom, so he's definitely the one I care about the most. There's just something about him that draws people of all shapes and sizes to him. He's also the one who understands how easy it can be to overthink everything. He always tells me that he's living proof that you can bounce back even when bad things happen, and I believe him.

It was thanks to SMG4 that I became part of my new herd, and it's one where I actually feel like I belong. That's why I'm going to do my best to protect them and be a good hero. And if all I can do right now is warn them about the bad guys and what they're planning, I guess that's good enough for now.

...What? Of course I warned everyone about Spotlight. Why would I keep that a secret? I mean, this isn't one of those movies where nobody talks to each other and makes things more complicated than it has to be! "

(Eyes and horn glowing, Mono stiffly gets out of bed and walks over to the large circular window overlooking the outside. After a few seconds, they softly mutter...)

(A second later, the glow disappears from Mono's eyes and horn, and the register what exactly they just felt.)

🦄: "Oh, no. Oh, no no no! Is something happening already? This...I don't know if I can do this. Even with the notes I have, there's no way I'm ready for this!"

🦄: "Sigh...but I guess bad guys don't really care if heroes are ready to face them or not."

(Mono takes a deep breath. Before they set out to investigate, they clasp their hands in front of them and close their eyes. The familiar image of the cosmos they came from appears in their mind.)

🦄: "Old One, please watch over me and keep me safe."
