Dear Prime Vector: We know of numerous cases of cybertronians who lost their ability to transform and were permanently "stuck" in robot or beast mode. I was wondering if there are cases of monoformers living in vehicle mode.

Dear Monoformer Master,

Although most Cybertronians who lose the power of transformation wind up in their robot configuration, some have, whether by accident or by choice, permanently taken on their alternate forms. The Builders Sunrunner, Tailwind, Tidal Wave, and Black-Out had made this decision, and the Maximals and Predacons of the Resistance commandeered many more vehicle-mode Cybertronians after disconnecting their higher functions. 

There are, of course, other Cybertronians who simply feel more at home in their vehicle forms, those rare ‘bots like Geosensus and Leviathan who only transform into robot mode when the situation absolutely requires it.

What are your thoughts on monoformers?

You mean from transformers? its an interesting idea, with cybertronians rejecting transforming. If i recall, most monoformers are part of a group called the Militant Monoform Movement, or Triple M. Which are basically a activism/political/terrorism group who have rejected the deity Adaptus, and thus removed their t-cog.

I wonder how Tarn feels about them…

I didn't know i was so passionate about this subject.

I hope I didn't sound too preachy about this, I really just wanted my stance on this to be firm and well outlined

um... im not sure how serious you were being, but i was just kidding around. It is, indeed, a common joke in the IDW-verse about monoformers, which is terrible. I was simply being light-hearted.

I'm being pretty serious here friend. Even jokes about this kind of stuff can be insensitive. Okay yes sure, this is about something that technically doesn't exists but stories are reflections of societies current attitudes. Prejudice against monoformers can easily be reflected as issue ssuch as transphobia and racism. I know now you being light hearted, I can understand that but please try to see what I'm saying here. Monoformers should be respected like any other cybertronians, and their choice should be respected as well. thats all im saying. This was a really interesting topic to me and it was nice to talk to you about it. I hope we can have future discussions about similar issues with you!

THIS is EXACTLY was Megatron was against!!

Cybertronians being discriminated against for their alt modes! Form does not indicate function! IF you don't want to be what you transform into, then you don't have to be it!

IF you don't want to transform at all that's fine!

the MMM( militant monoform movement) has some good points when it comes to this ( tho adding the word "militant" in front of any movement doesn't exactly hold a lot of peaceful promise for the future)

But like this was the whole reason the war started!  It began with bots shitting on other bots for the "usefulness" of their alt modes!

Rung got a wheel place on him and a new classification from the classivist because they couldn't understand his alt mode and didn't try. They just said okay whatever, we're just gonna put a wheel on u so everyone else thinks you fit in. IT wasn't even for him, it was so they could make him fit in with everyone else.

Okay maybe turning into a car might be useful but honestly not transforming is a bloody personal choice that monoformers get shitted on a lot for.

And that's really not okay!
