Dear Prime Vector: We know of numerous cases of cybertronians who lost their ability to transform and were permanently "stuck" in robot or beast mode. I was wondering if there are cases of monoformers living in vehicle mode.

Dear Monoformer Master,

Although most Cybertronians who lose the power of transformation wind up in their robot configuration, some have, whether by accident or by choice, permanently taken on their alternate forms. The Builders Sunrunner, Tailwind, Tidal Wave, and Black-Out had made this decision, and the Maximals and Predacons of the Resistance commandeered many more vehicle-mode Cybertronians after disconnecting their higher functions. 

There are, of course, other Cybertronians who simply feel more at home in their vehicle forms, those rare ‘bots like Geosensus and Leviathan who only transform into robot mode when the situation absolutely requires it.
