This is another one of those avant-garde shots in Monogatari that makes me start foaming at the mouth, because what do you mean they deliberately recreated the effect of shooting footage through an analogue fisheye lens for that wide angle circular effect when - and I cannot repeat this enough - this show is fucking animated so this is purely for effect/showing off/because they could/something something reality distortion for thematic purposes something something, and I just -
