We live in a world where monomaths are now highly valued over polymaths. What happened to being a human with multiple skills, talents, and knowledge? Social media has catered more towards niche content to the point where people are placed in a box rather than being embraced as humans who are complex and capable of doing & learning many things.

At least that’s the dream of the polymath: your global connectivity makes it so you can love so many things at once with equal amounts of passion. Your perceived lack of focus is the new life cycle of interest. Everything happens faster and is exhausted faster.
