Very Special Episode Short Film Series Screening

There are four short films, they're all very special episodes. Four short films, each inspired by a different improvised monoscene. Join creator-writer-producer-director-editor Nancy Melchert for the screening of all four Very Special Episodes! Very Special Episode is a short film series borne of Nancy's love and fascination of both the monoscene and independent filmmaking. Each film uses the same process—starting with an amazing and willing improv team and ending with a produced short film—to yield wildly different results. The series is an exploration of the creative process, discovering what translates from improvised comedy to film, what doesn't, and what just stays in because it's weird. Please come to Videology on Saturday, July 30th at 5pm to see all four shorts screened back-to-back. A Q&A will follow. There will be stickers and buttons!
